Why did Adaptation suck so much....

....That Iturned it off 30 minutes into it?

I NEVER turn movies off without finishing them. I just didn't get what the movie was aiming to do....

Check this out, Nygh: some movies don't hold your hand, take you to get ice cream, wipe your ass when you make a poo poo, and rub your tummy when it be achin'. Sometimes you have to -- and this might hurt -- watch the entire movie in order to fully grasp what the writer/director was trying to say. Sometimes you have to view the entire movie in order to enjoy it thoroughly.

Sucks, doesn't it? I wish we never had to think. If ignorance is bliss, it's safe to say Nygh is an ex poppin' mongoloid 24/7.

I don't understand why you're asking us why you turned the movie off. You probably just thought it was boring. Life goes on.

Yes

Nygh: I apologize if I was mean earlier. I shouldn't treat my friends that way. It was wrong of me. Hand shake?

2nd best Kaufman film

of course Eternal Sunshine is incredible... but it is obvious... people who've been in relationships (aka just about everyone) will get that film.

BUT
Adaptation is incredible.... you have to watch the whole film, nygh.

I won't say anymore... but you need to watch the whole thing!! damn it

If people be singing praises about Memento, there's no reason they should be talking smack about Adaptation ESPECIALLY if they haven't even bothered to see the whole thing through.

this is one of my favorite movies ever.

the movie itself is great and kaufman has you believing one thing the entire time, till you do a little outside research and find out he totally mindfucked you the whole time.

BRILLIANT if you ask me

Nygh I totally understand. You just watched The Notebook. Everything else will pale in comparison for a while.

HE probably thought the brother was real.

I remember someone on here asking when the brothers movie is coming out cause it sounded dope....

I've ran into a couple other people who also didn't realize...

Yeah, pretty much. I really didn't like this movie all that much. I prefer Eternal Sunshine, which I also found to be extremely overrated.

Being John Malkovich is great though.
