I have been using Windows CD burner to burn CDs with pictures for friends, and lately when the CD burning wizard comes up, it says there is no disk in the disk drive. Even though it's clearly there.
The Burner is only 2 months old, and burning music CDs in iTunes works well, so is there anything you all can recommend to me (and please don't recommend Nero, I've got it and it freezes up all the time and I hate it).
I'm having trouble with my CD/DVD Burner

First thing I can think to try is a different media. If multiple media manufacturers produce the same result though, I think then you have narrowed it down to the drive. I know it is only two months old, but the potential for a defective drive is unpredictable.
Also, what are your system specs?
I have never had any problems with Nero other than I know it bottlenecks on systems with slower bus speeds......
