Nash finished w/ 42 pts (16-25 FG & 6-7 from 3) w/ 13 ast and 6 reb.

Kidd finished w/ 38 pts (13-26 FG & 3-6 from 3) w/ 14 ast and 14 reb.

Kidd tied Wilt Chamberlain for 3rd all time with 78 career triple-doubles.

i was watching the whole game last night. bar was crazy last night. i never seen it get crazy about a regular season nets basketball game.

the Nets play no defense. that is why their record is not good. their best individual defender is jason collins right now. Carter and Kristic play no discernible defense. Kidd and Jefferson are average at best individual defenders. Marcus Williams and Eddie House are not good defenders. These guys play the majority of the minutes. The only solid defender on that team other then collins is Mikki Moore. i'm sure mikki moore and jason collins are putting fear in the hearts of opposing offenses. they play average team defense too. not a good recipe for success. this team really needs players like boone and cliff robinson back.

the suns have a couple of solid individual defensive players but their team defense is terrible.

all in all, adds up to a bad defensive game with alot of points scored.

but hey, it was fun to watch.

According to the same agent, Iverson reportedly told King he likes Maurice Cheeks as a person "but not as a coach."

K-Mart's career might be over and his season is certainly over. Iverson dominates the ball like no other player I've ever seen. I can see Melo getting unhappy. You forgot to mention one of the most underrated centers in the league when listing the notable Nuggets players: Marcus Camby.

You're right; the Hawks need to get Iverson stat. I'd love to see the Nets trade their gay superstar (Carter) for him as well. He'd bring some much needed toughness and D (npi) back to NJ.

Allen Iverson is not really a good defensive player. He gets steals, but he gambles a lot.

not a very good on the ball defender but he plays the passing lanes really well. OK team defender.
