Resolved Question
Does Biggie Smalls hate HipHop???

"Shoulda been a cop, Fukc Hiphop"

I've been wondering what he meant by this.
Additional Details
Rap sucks, HipHop is better

Best Answer - Chosen by Voters
Naw, he likes hip hop and rap. He was just referring to if he hadn't started rapping he would've been a cop.
So he's cursing it, not that he doesn't like it, just for the sake of it.

I'm a fan of all the Clipse albums as well as the Fear of God mixtape.
And that Ab Liva track two posts up is dope too.
Never heard any of the Clipse or Re-Up Gang mixtapes. How much am I missing out?

This album is pretty sick, I saw him live in Miami a few weeks ago but it was bullshit. The venue said he would have a 30 minute set and he ended playing like 10 minutes. He just shuffled through some of his clipse verses and then played MY GOD and walked out. Still dope but half assed.

Your missing out on life. Every one of the We Got It For Cheap mixtapes are essential. And the Play Cloths mixtape>>>>>>

This is the one time I can co-sign an Escobar 305 statement in good faith. The Re-Up Gang WGIFC series is stellar and a must listen. They are all really dope.

The Play Cloths tape is not on that level at all. The Re-Up Gang "album" on Koch is a dud, and marks the moment that the Clipse fucked up their careers.

Your crazy. Some of the best Re Up material and Clipse music period are on each volume.

2 is the only one that is essential. 1 is really good and 3 has its moments, but they aren't great. I know that is hard for someone who views any sort of criticism as "hating" to understand.

I really take no pleasure in having to side with Ye Olde Escobar305 twice in one thread but I too would disagree with your assessment.

I would not pick "Pussy" as the track with which to make my point, but nevertheless, the first volume is worth checking and WGIFC 3 is complete fire.

Unless you don't like Ab Liva embarassing everyone on every track.
