Maby i should do that. I only saw it once in the theater when it came out and i hated it. I thought the camera work in the fight scenes were terrible and pretty much ruined it for me.HopeLess wrote:Same here. Finally saw The Last Stand. Not horrible, but not great either. Definitely the worst of the 3. No Colossus/Juggs fight scene? What the fuck?...
What happen to that chick that was suppose to play Psylocke? They made a big deal about her in articles and even showed pictures of her. http://www.philaflava.com/forum/viewtop ... t=psylocke

true, but some good things make lots of moneyGregg Popabitch wrote:lol, you of all people should not go this route.Mindbender Futurama wrote:X-Men Make Box Office History With Their 'Last Stand'
Sequel earns $120.1 million, setting a Memorial Day weekend record.
the top 5 best selling rap albums of the 90's:
Hammer don't hurt em
license to ill
big willie style
MMLP
Country Grammar
does the fact that each of these albums sold 8 million plus albums mean they are dope albums (other then maybe MMLP and License?)? no, not neccessarily the case.
the matrix sequels both made over 150 million dollars each. doesn't make them dope.
making alot of money doesn't neccessarily mean dope.
check the top 10 all time movies, 3 of them are the Lord of the Rings movies, and one is Spiderman... also Shrek 2 is in there
and I LIKED THE MATRIX SEQUELS

I'm just joking with you, Gregg. I don't care if you don't like it, it's cool with me. I'm not really this childish, it's just funny to me. C'mon, it's a movie. Ignorant racists on

but I talked to a few comic book store people and they all said they liked the movie. it's cool though, whatever.

it's been discussed on here before I'm pretty sure, but what NEEDS to happen is an Infinity Gauntlet movie trilogy. With, like, Michael Clarke Duncan as Thanos, and a director that actually knows his shit and CARES about comic books and getting the spirit and mythology correct. Potential to be the greatest movies of all time.
Word up, though, not completely sold on Michale Vlarke Duncan as Thanos...but that's a damn good idea.Andvil wrote:it's been discussed on here before I'm pretty sure, but what NEEDS to happen is an Infinity Gauntlet movie trilogy. Read an article today that claims there's not only gonna be a Wolverine and Magneto movie
but there is also gonna be a Colossus picture and hes supposedly homo
is going on?

In comics, it has become increasingly common to not only create new gay characters but also to rework the mythology of long-time heroes to make them gay, as is the case with both Batwoman and Colossus.-LATimes

from what i`ve heard, this was a trilogy, there ain`t going to be a X-Men4, but sure as fuck they will make movies based on some characters.
Wolverine in 2007 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0458525/
and maybe Magneto and Emma Frost.
the Juggernaut sayin: "Doncha know who i am? I am the the Juggernaut, bitch!" is simply clasic.

I think this refers to how they butchered Colossus' character in the Ultimate Uni by making him a gay thug, his dichotomy in the original was great, but not enough character there to hold his own movie. oh an by the way, HE WAS BONING KITTY PRYDE.Brother J. and for the record, the Dark Phoenix Saga had way more potential than an Infinity Gauntlet flick, and we all saw what happened to that.

for X-4 they should have
JOHNNY DEPP AS GAMBIT
VING RHAMES AS BISHOP
and
ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER AS OMEGA RED
(that would be ILL though)
...
if you watch the movie again, it's so easy to take what happened to Cyclops as a non-death. He just kisses Jean, she starts to suck his energy out, and then the camera rotates around her. Next, Professor Xavier gets a shock, Wolvie and Ororo run to Xavier, and he just says 'get to Alkali Lake'. You don't see anything. And yeah, he's just missing his glasses, there's no body so in movies that means they're still alive, duh
.
Maybe he's at the bottom of the lake now, with another piece of the Jean Gray/Phoenix energy, I dunno
