michael finley has been killing shit for a long time now. he has certainly stepped up something serious this series though.

even though Dirk is a damn athletic white pf/c, you'd be hardpressed to say he's more athletic then duncan.

i think people are forgetting that duncan is still playing through plantar fasciitis

well that was a let down... and not because they lost.
just so damn anticlimatic

and to make matters worse they tied the lowest points scored in a playoff half record
I was yelling at the tv when they held the ball in the final seconds SOMEONE TELL THEM TO SHOOT!!!

In this series, Duncan can't guard Dirk without fouling him. What the Spurs should do is put Bowen on Dirk and Finley on Stack, for some reason they've been doing it the other way around and it's gonna be exploited. I've seen so many plays with Parker or Van Exel left on Dirk b/c of screens, Bowen is the best they got at fighting throught those shits.

Sorry I don't find games that are 63-51 in the 4th quarter entertaining.

i was thoroughly entertained while watching lebron get shut the fuck down in the biggest half of basketball of his career thus far. 1-9? it must really affect your jumper when hubie brown is attached to your dick.

sorry you didn't enjoy it.

it was actually a pretty painful game to watch. the second half was like pulling teeth and i'm surprised the pistons actually woke up.

i was hoping it would have at least been a closer game.

If you think lebron choked, you know nothing about basketball.

You cant really hate on lebron for what happend today. Pistons are clearly the better team and i was seriously predecting a sweep for them at the start of the series. Lebron will have his time. First off, the cavs need to get a competent point guard. pistons were pretty much playing zone loading up lebron's side and leaving eric snow wide open. Too bad he cant make jumpers.

The Cavs-Pistons tilt was duller than fuck. But "They Live" was on Cinemax and I basically clicked over to that to watch Roddy Piper kick ass instead of the Pistons clanging shots and bumping chests.

Although I am very happy with the results.

agreed.

for the usa today to say that the pistons 'shut lebron down to win game 7' is ridiculous, he had 27 points..

sure, they were all in the first half, but 'shut him down'??

plus, jesus couldn't score more than a bucket or two on the pistons 2 and 3 man traps they were sending at him...give them credit though, make z or gooden make a shot in the 4th quarter and that's the game..

if duncan was completely healthy, this wouldn't even be a discussion.

bowen's defensive steez is downright scary.

and yes, during the second half of yesterday's game, lebron was shut down. don't sugarcoat it because he's your favorite player on your favorite team.

lol @ the press conference after the game. coach brown was like "he was tired" and when they told lebron that brown said he was tired and then asked if he was, lebron gave a stern "no". i loled really hard.

he was 1-9 from the field for 3 points, the pistons wouldn't let him breathe. the pistons were up 2 at the half and won by 18.

that's called getting shut down.

i haven't heard anybody say that he choked. he didn't. he just got beat. and then he walked off the court without shaking anybody's hand.

I think he does that all the time. I remember when he dropped 56 against the raptors last year and they ended up losing still. He just walked off with the quickness.

he definitely got shut down in the 2nd half. But it was more his team's fault than his. He was 11-24 from the field...HIS TEAM WAS 9 FOR 41. End of discussion.

He's been acting like a bitch all playoffs. Whining about every call, complaining to the media about charges after a loss, shit talking Gilbert before the free throws. Sure he played great and I understand that, but on a personal level, he's been a faggot clown.

 @Duncan wanting them to call a foul on the last play of regulation...what a bitch. we need a Duncan emoticon for one someone is complaining.

game has been an instant espn classic.
I fully expect Ginobili to perform the flop of his life to get the four point play.

Then I will murder several people.

I really hope the proper shine is given to Nowitski's and-one at the end of regulation.

That play was unbelievable, and after the Ginobili backbreaker.

I LOVE THIS GAME :tm:

it's not just duncan. yes, the refs have been shit lately, but every guy who misses a shot complains to the ref they were fouled. it's rediculous. guys need to shut their mouths, and hustle back on defense.

Yeah, that ball BARELY went in though. If it hadn't the Mav's probably lose that game. A really phenomenal series.

I'm glad the Mavs won. They've been trying to get past those fools for years now and they did it without Nash or Finley. I bet Finley is pulling his hair out. Watch him go back to the Mavericks only to have the Spurs beat them next year. That would be classic.

I hate the Spurs so I'm happy. Shame the Clips didn't win, but oh well.
