I've watched most Sens games this season, if not all, and I've never seen a team like this Pens team. NOBODY has destroyed us like that. The team that beats Pittsburgh and ends their run (if it even happens) is going to have to be so fucking sharp.

Respect to the Sens for what they accomplished this year though. Most people had them out of the playoffs as soon as Spezza, Karlsson and Anderson were out but they hung in there and never went away. They always found a way to win and it was great to see what they accomplished. Even if Alfredsson is done, the young stars that are on the come up for the Sens should make any Sens fan happy with the future of the team.

This. They looked to be on auto-pilot in their own end for the whole 3rd period. I really hope Bylsma can implement some sort of change to improve them defensively. Teams like Boston and NY are way too defensive minded and it will be way tougher to put up a ton of goals every night against either of these teams so the Pens defence has to be better if they are going to go any further.

The last 5 Stanley cup winners are left in the playoffs. There is going to be some good hockey the next couple of weeks.

I am going on vacation this week to the beach. Didn't think about the hockey playoffs when we booked the trip. I am going to probably miss a couple games of the Eastern Conference finals. FUCK!

This year it doesn't really seem like a choke though. They battled hard against the defending champs, took them to 7 games, and 3 of the games were 2-1 scores. Maybe game 2 could have gone a bit better for them but I think they played really tough this series and just got beat by a better team. It really could have gone either way IMO.

hawks in 5? you do realize how good quick is playing right now right? even though i picked all hawks in my playoff pools, i don't think they can win this series. they had all that trouble with detroit, and LA is a far better defensive team, and quick is playing better than howard.
