Could somebody please upload the alternate versions of Tragedy & CNN's Thug Paradise (at least 2 alternate mixes I think), and CNN's Stick You, please?
Kool Keith: I wore a straw hat with a feather to the last Source Awards. When I got to Madison Square Garden everybody was looking at me. When I got back home I seen everybody and their mother in their video wearing a fuckinג€™ straw hat with a feather in it.

Tim Dog: ג€œWhat Kool Keith gonna wear? Iג€™m gonna do that shit in my video. Iג€™m gonna wear that shit really quick. Whatג€™s Tim Dog gonna wear?ג€

I upped the 3 versions i have:

Original Version - Tragedy ft. Capone
98' Thug Paradise - Tragedy ft. Capone & Infinite
Nothing To Lose OST Version - CNN ft. Tragedy

Edit: Here's the original version in better quality (I just noticed that the mp3 in the zip file was probably a mixtape rip):

Shadowmaster - do you mean the ordinary CNN "Stick You" from the 'War Report album or is it a different version you're looking for?

i've been trying to find this rare Busta Rhymes / Hurricane G track that Diamond D produced around '96 called "Far Away". it was released on white label vinyl only i think

also a Sadat X track called "Brooklyn" that was supposed to go on 'Wild Cowboys' i believe, it was on a promo 12" with the title track from the album on the B-side.

i've heard many times that LL and Q-Tip recorded a track for "G.O.A.T." that was on the promo copies but i have never been able to find it or even know if it ever has been leaked. but if someone has this please hook me up.

thx in advance

Check the "Vinyl (VLS) & CD (CDS) Singles" sticky thread, I posted it last month:

Thank you very much!

claaa7-I read that there was another version of Stick You, besides the LP version.

Here's the only other version I've heard of Thug Paradise after the ones posted above, the one with Nore:

http://www.sendspace.com/file/62l2s3

edit-just noticed it was included in the above post, but is another rip so...

It's from a J-Love mixtape. Has a version of CNN's Cheers been released anywhere without the J-Love drops?

I also had a Trag and Nore freestyle years ago where Nore drops the Ice Down Medallions hook but I can't find it anywhere. I thought it was on the Throwback/Shame On A Nuh mixtape but it isn't on any version I've heard recently.

shadowmaster: i would imagine that the other version of "Stick You" might be the unedited, non censored version. remember that one of Trag's line is backmasked ("we be taping her, raping her" part).

listened to CNN's "War Report" yesterday, such a classic

That's possible, was the rape line on Stick You? Somebody posted an unedited CNN track here years ago on here, but I don't have it anymore.

War Report is just classic material.

thanks for brining this maleeto guy to my attention. i haven't really followed hip hop in about ten years. there's some really nice interviews on the net this guy did. love the tid bits about diddy's production team sampling his cd - calling him to find out the sample ID - then not wanting to pay him. sampling is such a shady ass business with some producers and record labels. makes me sick sometimes.

Couldn't find it on a public site so I grabbed it from a private torrent tracker:

http://www.multiupload.com/6EF8Q7SD3X (freshly upped, still up everywhere)

(And I got your message, I'm just especially busy at the moment but I'll be sure to hit you up when I get a free minute.)

One more:
Lakim Shabazz ג€“ Let Me Find Out / Turn It Out [2005]?!
http://www.discogs.com/Lakim-Shabazz-Le ... se/1197664

Never knew this existed. The beat for one of them is real raw, another "Annie" sample. Only the instrumentals are on youtube, I guess whoever upped them doesn't think Lakim Shabazz is a dope emcee or something.. They are wrong, unless he's not that great on this which I can't say cause i haven't heard it

Speaking of Lakim Shabazz, Jaz (and likewise I) was looking for this for a while (most recently requested almost a year ago). It was finally uploaded this month by a cat named Denis on his blog sometime this past month.

Lakim Shabazz- Need Some Lovin' (Anttex remix)

Nice use of Stevie Wonder. Dude's got plenty of other good stuff on his site too. Cheers

Any Mos Def material from 1998 and 1999 that wasn't on his debut album or the Black Star album.

I'm pretty sure I have this record somewhere in my living room hovel here. If nobody else gets it for you, I'll rip it. I may have to be reminded though, sorry, been busy/stressed.
