Movies like There Will Be Blood, The Social Network, Wall Street, and etc. always caught my attention because of the underlying theme of how some of the most popular things in society have some sort of history behind them. I'm putting this thread out there for people to recommend other movies like these. And just now saw, The Social Network. As much as I hated how it was advertised, that film was well put together.

Both. And even comedies. It extends behind genres I feel when it comes to big businesses that have films either based on them or surrounding a situation they were a part of. For example, The Informant with Matt Damon was more so a comedy, am I right?

i just didn't like the trailers is what i should've said. just made it look like a corny movie, IMO. there are some movies that have that. the trailers are a piece of shit (by the way its presented and edited) but the movie's on-point. and vice versa.
