Statistically I think Nash will go down as the best shooter of all time.
From 2005-2010
He has averaged over 90 percent from the freethrow line,
40 percent from 3's
50 percent from the field.
Kobe has never averaged even one of those percentages in any year of his career, let alone all 3 5 years in a row.

Larry Bird is the best that I can remember.
Glad to see Mitch Richmond get some love.
Others that I don't think anyone has mentioned:
Chuck Person was dope back in the day. The Rifleman.
Hersey Hawkins
Drazen Petrovic (was a 44% three point shooter before he died)

for form probably steve kerr. i have never seen anyone with better form ever. dude basically didnt need to look at the basket.
runners up on form were stockton and mark price but they tended to drift.
bird had great form too but not like those 3 guys. he held the ball imperfectly sometimes. i cant recall steve kerr ever holding the ball or releasing imperfectly.
in terms of intuitive ability reggie miller and hersey hawkins. loved watching hersey play. dude had that crazy ass shot where he would rubber band his body and shit, you know? glenn rice too. bird too.
edit: yeah mitch richmond, nice call

glen rice always had perfect straight elbow alignment on his jumper. alot of shooters have good release, even if they shoot a high FG, but if there shooting elbow drifts out it takes away from the look of the form of how a fundamentally sound shot should look. he was the one of coldest rhythm shooters.
Kobe shoots 20-25 attempts per game. Nash hasn't cracked 13. When you shoot that much your % drop.jazzmatazz23 wrote:Statistically I think Nash will go down as the best shooter of all time.
