fuck rap regression. there has been enough in 2010. shit is fucking pathetic.

Eminem stepped the game UP. that's what made him a legend.

Beastie Boys, Everlast and 3rd Bass were not the best MCs in their era, in any argument except for with their most die hard fans.

If you are going to make hype on something besides skills, then fuck off. Yelawolf WILL be the next Bubba Sparkxxx (who was actually dope on the mic), but he also was and will not be as big as Marshall Mathers.

rap is fucking out of control.

please do not think of me as one of your puppets, Philabrother. i would rather simply discuss the present future of the great white rap phenomenon.

these are my thoughts, yo. no homo.

Rittz is not the future in my ears. Mac Miller is not a revolution or revelation, and Asher Roth's sophomore album doesn't excite me much. Nobody's wack, but... meh. And I'm an optimist.

Yelawolf is cool, and fresher than many, but he's no Marshall Mathers in 1999.

Finally got to sit down with Yela and I'm kind of laughing my ass off at this mix tape. This is what garners this amount of hype in 2010?

It's either a grower or further proof that, if you are white and have a sliver of talent, the world is yours.

What's the difference between the album and this mix tape?

One sucks and was released independently, the other one sucks and was released by a major label.

i accidentally, drunkenly rolled to the drunken unicorn so i could pay $5 to get into MJQ instead of the normal $10.
yelawolf was performing. there was 5th generation twice removed dungeon fam on stage cosigning him and he was rocking the fuck out on some hard rock shit. didnt even know about that mixtape or who the fuck dude was.
been a fan ever since.
shit. seen him at 97 estoria that saturday and felt obligated to tell him how dope that set was.
cyhi the prince, him, then b.o.b. would perform together at smithe's old bar. caught that shit a couple times too.
he's the next white hype and deserves it just as much as marshall did.

I listened to that first song off 'Pink Slime' EP that Mac is doing with Pharrell

the epitome of :bunk:

"hi my name is Mac Miller, and now I am going to do my best impression of 2 Chainz, over Pharrell's beats. Thank you for wasting your time on me."

:fail:
