as much as i love movies, and i own tons of em, i never really got into the poster collecting. i think the only one i ever had was a clockwork orange poster in high school.

there are some really cool ones though.

I collect sparingly. I have an original mint condition Chinatown one-sheet which is probably the most valuable of my collection.
This one:

Another one of my favorites is a 2-sheet French original for Aguirre: The Wrath of God that I have hanging in my bedroom. I can't find any pictures of it on the net, I'll have to snap a picture and post it later.

I also bought this Tim Doyle Twin Peaks silkscreen recently

the thing with mondotees.com is you have to check that site hourly if you want a chance at buying the posters they put up. I wanted that UHF poster so damn bad.

I bought one of Tyler Stout's Inglorious Basterds posters from there, I should've bought multiple. Most of his shit goes for crazy prices on ebay

I used to call and they would put stuff aside as you ordered it online. They are too big for stuff like that these days though. Its a little easier now with the blog teasing release dates, but more people hawk the site.

There were a bunch of IG posters that were fantastic. The Stout's were close to the best. I have his Blade Runner and Road Warrior. Want the Robocop really bad.

those are definitely 3 of his better ones. I'm not sure if there's any of his I dislike. One of my friends bought his Total Recall poster, it's ridiculous how much better they look in person. The quality of the prints is crazy. I'm surprised mondo sells them as cheap as they do. I'm looking forward to more posters on alternative surfaces, like that robocop and iron man poster on sheet metal is killer. And I'm not the biggest star trek geek, but that variant on wood was illllllllllllllllll

My dream is to one day own an original Vertigo one-sheet in good condition. My favorite poster design ever. just classic shit. Too bad they go for between 4 and 5 grand.

Also, if anyone is looking for a very reliable source for original movie posters and don't feel like risking it with ebay, check out Heritage Auctions. They always have all kinds of dope shit.

I have a repress of this. I actually forgot about it, because I never got a frame for it. I think it is still rolled up in a tube at my parents house.

I don't collect or buy art but I saw a "They Call Me Mr.Tibbs" 1972 poster on ebay for $12 in Mint condition and had to grab that shit. I couldn't find a link to a pic on google that works, but it basically looks like my sig.

I have a shit load from when I worked in a theater but the only ones I have ever felt the need to hang up where Exit Wounds and Executive Decision. I had to take down the latter as I would always get kind of weepy eyed thinking of the sacrifices the God Seagal made for all our freedom.
