That and the dude comes off as a cool person in these videos so I have to give him propers. As much as I think acapella battling is..... nothingEmployee wrote:Nah, I'll go out on a limb here and give the guy his due. If that stack was his and he can throw that kind of loot around without worry, that's more than most major label cats can muster.DLG wrote:is definitely not the man, but je may be slightly less gay than t-rex.
I'd like to see what happens here.
Okay, now things are getting out of hand. His demeanor isn't necessarily one of the factors in play here. Most rappers I've met in real life are self-absored assholes whether in public or private. What matters is he put together a superior video complete with visual gags/props and a stack of bills.wheels wrote:That and the dude comes off as a cool person in these videos so I have to give him propers. Any cat rapping "professionally" on an indie level who can casually leverage their own cash in that amount with little-to-no worry deserves props. Think about it.......How many rappers have you crossed paths with that actually get paid?

They should box?
Yes. It would cut out a lot of the nonsense. It would be more entertaining and less people would run their yap. We all win.Employee wrote:I have no idea what that means.Nom Inf wrote:Ultra sound technician>>>>>>>> indie battle rap championEmployee wrote: Okay, now things are getting out of hand. I remember Okwerdz from back when I used to care about MC battles in like 2002. Although I did sorta follow the WRC tournament.
I'm sorta amazed at the amount of attention these battle rappers recieve on this board. There is plenty of music out there that is a lot more intriguing than decent rappers spitting angry pre-writtens. It's cool though do your thing.
