What the hell happened to J-Treds?

I've been on a bit of a late-nineties indie kick for the past few weeks and I came across this compilation of J-Treds jawns that I procured from this thread: http://www.philaflava.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=100323 .

It's called "The Unstoppable" and collects pretty much every 12" joint and appearence that J-Treds made from '96/'97 to 2002 or so. There are some pretty nice cuts on it, including one of my all-time favorites: "Make It Happen." Timeless Fondle' Em shit, that one.

But seriously, what happened to this dude? Treds seems to be the fucking Houdini of indie rap; he dropped a few dope-ass singles in the late nineties, cut some joints with the Indelibles, and then BOOM, he's gone. He's popped up on a few records over the past couple of years (including the Juggaknots' newest) but hasn't released a 12" in like 7 or 8 years. Kind of a shame as I always thought dude was pretty nice on the mic.

Anybody got any info? Google searches don't produce jack thus far.

Yeah, he was fuckin' great IMO.
If that compilation doesn't have his two demos[Piece Of Mind, Recognize], let me know. I'll find 'em and up 'em.
His best two joints to me were those demos.
And there was two versions of the Piece Of Mind demo. One with the hook and one without.

I got a J-Treds Night Train freestyle session that is something like 15 minutes long which I'll post shortly (I don't want to tease a motherfucker). I converted two 90 minute tapes of freestyles from the Night Train show a few months back, but I just haven't gotten around to organizing all of it.

Okay, I tried to limit this to the late 90s/early 00s, when J-Treds was on top of his game. I have a couple '03 freestyles that I left out of it.

I was sleeping, I didn't realize that part of his freestyle was already upped. I thought I heard everything beforehand. I admit I wouldn't have included it even if it was better quality; don't want to step on anyone else's efforts.
