That was a well-executed missed free-throw.

Battier is a huge reason the Rockets won this game tonight, he's been great.

A nice comeback for the Rockets without even taking it to overtime.

I hope the Jazz can extend the Lakers series by another game.

Damn, Blazers couldn't grab a rebound to save their lives.

And, definately were affected being on the road, good playoff experience. Here's to pushing it to 6 games at least.

as a basketball purist (meaning i actually like watching good basketball regardless of whether or not the team has any chance of winning the title), i dig the rockets a lot

except for ron artest on offense when he decides he's going to shoot 27 foot three pointers, etc.

Man, when Artest just focuses on defense and hitting spot jumpers he's such a better player. He really can't create off the dribble anymore, but he thinks he can. I was really glad to see him reign it in last game.

the sad part is this strategy is used by the games best players like Lebron, kobe and wade and it pisses me off to no end. Nowdays all you have to do is drive and initiate contact, then proceed to yell real loud and just throw the ball towards the hoop. The league is in shambles

I love watching the Rockets. mainly cause i love watching Artest and Battier play defense.

still beyond me how Adelman didn't win coach of the year.

Tired & Broke wrote:I watch hella b ball, and these playoffs more than the recent past ones have had several situations that came down to the last possesion where teams are out of timeouts. but in most of the coaches defense, if it had not been for alot of those timeouts during those situations then the games prolly would not have been that close in the end anyway.
..The don't have timeoute because of wasted ones earlier in the game.. You save them so you CAN move the ball and set up a play in the last two minutes of a game..

the refs missed as many calls for the bulls as they had for the C's.

That perkins foul out call was not terrible. THAT IS A FUCKING FOUL. when van gundy complained about that call during the game, i wanted to muzzle his ass right there. and he's one of my favorite coaches and analysts so that should tell you something.

the scalabrine block wasn't a foul? really?

jesus man. you are complaining about the right calls imo. if you complain about the wrong calls, i'll co sign that shit.
The perkins one could be called a foul, but with less then 2 minutes to go in the game and they have been calling the game real loose the whole time... I think it should of easily been a no call... Also the Scal blocking call?? He was there before, had his feet set, and was outside the circle.. how was it a block?

 !

hacked? dude just throws his arms in the air whenever someone goes for the ball...paul pierce is a bitch
Do you see the replays of his drives?? Noah hacked the shit out of him every time he was in the paint and there were no calls..

Either way, C's had there chances.. Peirce missing free throws is getting out of hand, and the last possessions of both OT and double OT for the Cs where horrible... I am enjoying this series and its the most exciting I have been in a while about a sports event though. Gordon vs. Allen is turning into something legendary...

and eternal.. still think they should have only 8 teams in the playoffs?????

*edit*
Rondo avg for playoffs so far:
23.3 points 10 assists 10.8 rebound 3.5 steals and 1.8 turnovers

Bulls Had Hometown Referees For Game 4

Apr 27, 2009 10:47 AM EST

The NBA assigned two Chicago natives, Bill Kennedy and Dan Crawford, to referee Game 4 of the first round series between the Bulls and Celtics.

Kennedy was controversially involved in an incident with Doc Rivers during a March win by Chicago in which both were fined by the league for jawing. The source also said that after the game family members of both referees departed wearing Bulls gear.

Ron artest need to shoot less and try to create less. Thank god Battier was on point. Roy and Aldridge and the occasional role player like Fernandez the only reason it's been so close on the offensive end.
