I avoided downloading it for 3 days from other sites because I thought for sure that tracklisting was fake. :owens:

If it's the version I heard, it's not legit. The only version I've heard was an "Advance" with about 4-5 legit tracks and the rest remixes of clean acapellas from We Got It For Cheap 3.

Even in :ethief: we don't have the real thing yet.

Yeah I finally listened to the one I'd found, and right off the bat the intro is the intro from WGIFC Vol 3 with a new beat. There were 4-5 tracks I'd never heard and the rest were tracks with new beats so I still wasn't sure if it was legit or not except for the intro obviously didn't seem real.

Check the amazon.com listing though and preview it: http://www.amazon.com/Clipse-Presents-R ... 315&sr=8-2

This looks and sounds exactly like what I got.

Looks like that may be the actual album:

http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/n ... n-november

"If you're expecting to stroll up to your local mixtape dude August 5 to land yourself a copy of that new Re-Up Gang disc, you may find yourself the recipient of a puzzled look. Indeed, the next release from the lyrically venomous VA-to-PA supergroup featuring Malice and Pusha T of Clipse and Philly MCs Ab-Liva and Sandman will in fact be traveling through some atypically traditional channels to get to your ears.

Clipse Presents: Re-Up Gang is due in stores August 5 from Koch Records. The disc sports nine new songs-- including the recently Forkcasted "Fast Life", produced by Scott "Mayor of Clowntown" Storch-- and a trio of previously unreleased remixes of cuts from the fab free-to-download We Got It for Cheap, Vol. 3 mixtape they laid on us this winter. Oh, and lest you forgot, British soul singer Joss Stone was at least at one point slated to appear on the set, though there's no mention of her involvement in the recent press material.

Clipse, meanwhile, are still busy working up their third LP, now slated for a November release on their new label Sony/Columbia. I'll believe it when I own it."

The weirdest thing if this is the actual album, isn't so much that the remixes are on there, it's that the remix on the intro still mentions the fact that it's "We Got it for Cheap Vol. 3: the Spirit of Competition"

I mean, you'd think they'd at least take that out.

yeah but i aint disappointed because i think this is just hype for the new clipse album in dec.

... but yeah i wish they put the 20K brothers on the corner beat on the release

The beat to the We Got It 4 Cheap 3 Intro was better as well. I mean the songs are good, it's just that I've heard most of them before. I was hoping for a legit Re-Up Gang album, not a few new Re-Up Gang songs and a bunch of remixes of old songs. Shit just seems lazy to me.

Clipse, Neptunes, and Timbaland are the only artist from my state I will listen to.
So I bought a copy on the way home and heard a few tracks.

tracklistin got me thinking some of this was off WGIFC. Show You How To Hustle and Emotionless.

Sandman or Ab

whoever makes that MAAAANNNNUUUUUUUUU sound is fuckin funny

Pusha went in tho

I'll finish listening tomorrow. Doesn't look like they sold many copies at Target.

I was wondering where Rossco P was until Pusha said he just got out of the pen.
