Great song, but here are a few that come close off the top:

Dizzee - Graftin
Saw it Comin' - Wiley and others
Get Set Run the Road Remix
16 Bar Rally - Wiley and others
Roll Deep - Whenimere
Kano - P's and Q's
Dizzee - I Luv U

These are songs I'd put on a definitive Grime mix, feel free to add other GOAT songs of this genre. I have a love/hate with Grime, the best stuff is usually so damn good I could never get tired of it, but the bad stuff I need to turn off right away.

OK so barny this grime mix is probably the best summary of this genre that I have heard to date no joke blud. If only you had included a 10-minute interlude of '4 da ladies' R'n'G then it would be just perfect. Also you should commission a couple of specials from Jammer and get it hosted by D Double E. 'BIG UPS DA DJ BIG SPHHOOON'

5 mins later: OK FUCK THIS IS SO FUCKING GOOD

I'm going to download Barknee's comilation since TPP is near enough wetting himself over it and because i wanna hear "Xtra" by Roll Deep that you gentlemen are raving about.

El P might be showing Bun B sycophantic MSN messages from Mindbender Futurama begging for a deal on his laptop but grime still beats Def Jux everyday!

barknee wrote:right, here's a big ol' grime mix (with the token 10 minute dubstep interlude) that i've been sitting on for a while. it has a fair amount of the tracks mentioned above, but the levels are all over the place (that's ableton live for you) so watch out if you're listening loud...
This mix is big - many thanks.

I still bump that Roll Deep Rinsessions CD all the time.

Glad peoples liked the mix. Here's a dubstep mix I made for someone last week - the mixing's well dodgy on a couple of tracks cos i only had a couple of hours to make it, but most of it's alright. Tracklist:

01 The Bug ft Killa P & Flow Dan - Skeng
02 Loefah - Disko Rekah
03 Tubby - Tigerstyle
04 Benny Ill - Fat Larry's Skank
05 Benga - The Bug
06 Burial - South London Boroughs
07 Burial - Pirates
08 Mala (DMZ) - Bury The Bwoy
09 Digital Mystikz - Anti-War Dub
10 Kode9 & Spaceape - Backward
11 Shackleton - Naked
12 Burial ft Jamie Woon - Wayfaring Stranger
13 Plastician - Japan
14 Ruf - My Love
15 Coki (DMZ) - Burnin'
16 Cluekid & Cotti - Sensi Dub
17 Loefah - System
18 The Bug ft Flow Dan - Jah War (Loefah rmx)
19 Roll Deep - Morgue VIP
20 Wonder - What? (Geeneus rmx)
21 JME - JME's IQ
22 Skream - Midnight Request Line
23 Skream - Midnight Request Line (Digital Mystikz rmx)

Apologies for the hefty file size, 150mb:
Loefah + JME + Jammer set from FWD> a couple of weeks that I ripped Skeng from - amazing set that shows how well vocals can work over dubstep. It's a shame that an album akin to the one suggested by Yak will probably never happen (the main heads in dubstep avoid all association with grime nowadays) because vocals give some much needed energy amongst all the halfstep wobble zzzzzzzzzzz.
Newham Generals set from the end of April. More vocalised dubstep goodness. Rinse FM have just started doing a podcast which has new sets near enough every day, well worth subscribing to. The latest Roll Deep show they just put up is ridiculous.
New Burial stuff is sick, pure 2 step vibes. Here's 'Unite' from the box of dub comp that soul jazz just put out.

So how is the new Dizzee album? How does it compare to the new Wiley? What are the favorite tracks from each?

Barknee, you must have a big window on your head. You're a ledge.

Binary, as far as I'm concerned, the new Dizzee is excellent, a million miles ahead of the Wiley album. Dizzee's flow has absolutely gone to shit, but it doesn't matter, he can make songs. As with any Dizzee album, there are a few songs I'm not into, but for the most part it's really dope. Beats are just slightly weird, he's fundamentally doing his own thing, as ever. And it bumps beautifully. Temptation is my jam.

Revive!

Here is mine & barknee's "get drunk at midday, call all your friends and get them to come to the pub, then shout it in their face" summer anthem:

Newham Generals - Bell Dem Slags

I'm possibly pushing it a little by posting this here, but these are three massive tunes (the first and last particularly):

Shitmat & Friends - Gary's Gruesome Remixes

Also, while everybody's putting out thirty track mix cd's of wank, Durrty Goodz put out a nine track ep of quality:

Durrty Goodz - Axiom E.P.

Durrty Goodz - Switching Songs Part 2 Live

^^^This shit is fresh!

I think this is pretty unfuckwittable in terms of punch-a-wall appeal:

dpm feat. nappa, shizzle & bruza - 'ave some of that
soon jesus will come and we will all clap

another classic beef track from wiley & trim, war report part 4:
the bit where wiley starts spitting at hyperspeed is :ohsh: and these bars from trim are still too much:

"he got scabs cos crazy gassed him
and he had an allergic reaction which caused his face to rot away by the fraction
face is fucked up like michael jackson
you're not a thug, you're a willy, stop acting
i might catch something, that's why i ain't slapped him"

Man - that sounds dope. I get back from holiday that day so if i'm not too jetlagged I might reach.

I've been to a few FWD's now - they're fucking great, despite me and ma' manz being blatantly the oldest people in there.

This will be fucking sick. KODE 9 RE-RECORD YOUR ALBUM WITH FLOW DAN INSTEAD OF SPACEAPE.

Is Wiley def turning up then?
