Whoa.
By far the toughest matchup yet. Fuck.
I'm going to have to go with A Love Supreme. I mean, both are masterpieces of music. You really can't go wrong with either. It's a personal choice because I can't honestly say that A Love Supreme is truly the better record.
I could flip a coin and wouldn't be disappointed. Truly Jazz music at its finest.

kind of blue = miles + coltrane + just a couple other of the greatest jazz musicians of all time
a love supreme = coltrane's second best album

Yea I can see that logic but personally I was just going by preference. I actually enjoy In a Silent Way slightly better than KofB. Not saying it's better though.
Edit: You think Giant Steps is Coltrane's best work?
