I chose the Beatnuts becuase of all of artists they have remixed and worked with over the years, lyrically there is no question that the Liks hold it down but the Nuts kill it in the beatmaking and production stakes and their rhymes suit them.

sums it up for me.
Tash is better than the Nuts alone
but the production for the Nuts... ohhh lawdy.
Two of my all time favs, like 1 and 1a on the all time bob list. Being a light-skinned cat (read: white), I hold a special place in my heart for these MCs. Either that or the fact that most of their material revolved around getting high, getting drunk, getting laid and getting paid. I went with the LIks because Coast II Coast is perfect. And the Liks never rapped about shootin' people unless it was "First came to shove/and now hes gone"
street level is the best album either of the dropped.
i only really like intoxicated demons, 21 & over, street level, coast ii coast, stone crazy & likwidation.
in their prime, alkaholiks were better live. both are ok live today
Coast II Coast is my favourite album out of the 2 groups, but I still picked the 'Nuts because "Do You Believe", "Watchout Now", and "Beanuts Forever" are among my favourite tracks.

honestly thats a little silly.
Don t get me wrong I love the Nuts but I love E-Swift's production like crazy 21 and under and Coast to Coast are classics and lyrically the Liks are better than the Nuts IMO
the beatnuts have some amazing beats but i think alot of you are forgetting that they are both horrible horrible emcees and to me more often than not they ruin them
