I bought a box on eBay a few years ago. Actually put the entire set into pages and a binder.

I used to buy those when they came out. I would love to get those cards signed. My collection would be complete if I had a Chuck D card signed sitting next to my Derek Jeter and Ricky Williams.

I did that when they came out..also have another set I can't think of what they were called ? Rap pack maybe ? they each came with a graph sticker from like t-kid or some other artist.

I hosted a battle at 36 deadly masters in indianapolis and got an extra box off ebay and used the card numbers to see who would battle first.

We didn't count the MC hammers or the Vanilla Ices tho...

Gave a full set to the runner up. I gave illogic a set waaay back too..

they'll have the same value they have now in the next 10 years. reason i know is because they have the same value now as when they did when they came out 15 years ago.

rap packs also.
These had the Doc Ice photo on the Kurtis BLow card or some shit like that...

and the Yo! cards came out in two versions.. the first set then the added a booster set with more artists/crads.. Those are still pretty available.. I used to see em in "Everythings a dollar" type stores for a buck a box...

the trick is to hold on to em till they are really rare.which could be never ha ha..

There was a pop set too.

Best thing about the Yo MTV Raps cards was finding out that Vanilla Ice's real name is Rob Van Winkle. Turned my 3rd grade world upside down dun.

i was planning on ordering a box of series 1 and 2 . instead i order these cards card 'The Rap Pack' from the same era. theres suppose to be 150 different cards of 69 different groups. each pack comes with 10 trading cards and 1 peel n stick graffitti sticker. waiting for em in the mail rite now. I will upload some scans once i get them in the mail. im planning on putting them in binders as well. i only got 18 packs . so i doubt ill end up with all 150 different cards.

if you are buying those in a bodega today, i'd really suggest you check expiration dates on anything you purchase.

When I bought 'Rakim Told me' the author put a sign Eric B and Rakim one in the book when he sent it over from the US to the UK.
