I've been listening to a LOT of Danzig 1 & 2 lately, havent peeped three yet, cause I want to let the other two marinate, but I'm very surprised I didn't get into Danzig way earlier his shit is fucking amazing.

2. Snakes Of Christ
3. Killer Wolf
4. Tired Of Being Alive
5. I'm The One
6. Her Black Wings
7. Devil's Plaything
8. 777
9. Blood And Tears
10. Girl
11. Pain In The World
ahh. got it to work. That album brings back memories. I remember mailing in to get that medallion hes rocking on the cover. Shit!!! I wish I still had that.
3 > 2 > 1 > the thrall EP > 4 >>>>>>>>>>>>>> everything else they did after the original line-up left.
That said, the song "13" from one of the later albums (maybe "snakes of christ"?), which Johnny Cash covered, is one of the very best Danzig songs.
That solo album he did after 4 where it was just him on his keyboard doing these silly baroque classical pieces that were supposed to sound really sinister is equally the worst album ever made and the best zoning out album in the history of music.

"I love california. the other day some bum was like "gimme a dollar, I SAID GIMME A DOLLA!!!!!" and I told him to sit down and shut the fuck up. and he did. cause real talk I will knock a bum the fuck out." --BeHemoth
I still bump his albums, missing "Can't Sleep." It seems like his ego kept growing and John Christ, Chuck Biscuits and Eerie Von were left to pay. By the time IV dropped, it's like he figured "Trent Reznor has fans, it can't be that hard."
