I liked SAW 1, despite the horrible acting. SAW 2 was meh. I was upset that they completely ditched the puzzles part way through. The shit with the colored numbers on the back of their necks etc...It reminds me of that episode of Simpsons where they hype up the fireworks factory on Itchy & Scratchy, then eventually just drive right past it. The puzzles are what makes this movie good...

I like Saw I, absolutely love Saw II, but Saw III is one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time. The entire film was rushed and scattered and attempted to seem suspensful but utterly failed.
the flick was pretty damn grisly but the acting was yet again bad enough that it was impossible to connect with the characters on an emotional level, thus sparing me the bother of empathizing with any of them
i never watched the other two because i thought that movie genre was so over and done with, but i went out with some friends to see this one and i liked it... they did tie a lot together which helped me a bit having not watched any of them.
