Dis-gusting.

I thought it was better than most sci-fi movies nowdays.
Did you have a bunch of sci-fi dorks at your screening? Those fuckers laughed at every bit of dialogue.

I thought it was great, the first sci-fi movie I've seen in a while that didn't disappoint me. I've never seen an episode of Firefly.

when the series originally aired on Fox, I watched the first episode and didnt like it. then Sci-Fi starting airing them last month and I become obsessed with it. suffice to say, loved the movie. the end.

you might want to rent the first couple seasons on DVD.

it has a cult following for a reason. Joss Whedon's a great fucking writer. He needs to work on another show. TV needs him.

I actually enjoyed the movie. It was much better than most of the sci-fi crap that comes out. Not great, but not bad.

Yeah It was awesome. A lot darker than I expected...I hated those Reaver bastards. Begging for Summer Glau to kick those Reavers into the next century.

Nathan Fillion is great, as close to Han Solo as anyone is gonna get in this movie.

Terrible movie. I almost turned it off it was so bad. (especially the beginning)

You can tell Whedon thinks he's the smartest person in the world. His dialogue is cheesy as fuck, and his attempts at wit are groaningly terrible. This rings true for almost all of his work.

*SPOILER*

Major plot holes abound. The most glaring of which is that although the Reavers are pretty much just savage killers who eat people they manage to maintain social structure enough to fly huge spaceships all over the universe. Please.

Basically, I can't understand why anyone liked this. Ultra cheesy nonsense.
