In the new Maxim there is a section on The Wire and it says Herc is a P.I. in season 5.

I thought he lost his stripes not his job? Can somebody confirm this?

michael will rise in the ranks under marlo
since hes been living with him , dukie will be his protege

now remember when michael was meeting up with
marlo in his court about getting rid of bugs dad and omars man called him to the window to see. omar brushed it off about him being a kid.
and omar is never the one to underestimate a mahfucka.

im sayin now that michael and omar are gonna battle
either thats gonna be it , or omar is gonna take him and then marlo

carcetti is gonna have problems. dudes gonna have some serious problems.
he dont politic the way evryone is used to. hes not making friends with the right people , hes quickly separating himself from all the locals plus hes making moves with clay davis.
the newspaper and the media are gonna shit on him and the police department. which is gonna shit on daniels and burell and evryone on down.

Few things in the preview I wonder if people noticed

On the news paper articles they flash through, one says

"Clay Davis indicted for bribery"

And in the previews they show Chris Partlow breaking through someone's house and in one of the newspaper article says

"Three dead in Home Invasion"

Also they also show Nick Sabotka. Since the Greeks will be there, should be interesting.

The quality is supposed to be top notch, like all the Wire leaks have been, apparently. If they don't have it on HBO on Demand by Tuesday, then I'm gonna watch it online. I'm like a crack fiend waiting for a hit.

Good to see the God from Homicide at the Baltimore Sun. Didn't get a chance to see the whole thing cause I had to go to work, but from the first 30 minutes you can pretty much tell they're not gonna let the show fall off one bit. Not only is The Wire the best TV show I've ever seen, it's also the most consistent.

Word to the copier scene. The opening scenes of each season are always money.

Mods: Did we establish any rules last year about On Demand viewers talking too much about an episode / divulging plot points, and in doing so messing up the show for people who catch it at it's usual time on Sundays? I think we did, but maybe we just cast them aside since most people have On Demand?

Prop Joe is gonna get merked, you can see it coming. Marlo setting something up

A clean Bubs is not what's hot in the streets, though.

And they added the newspaper characters perfectly. Didn't seem forced or to take away from the main attraction. Excellent writing.
