That was the main movie I was comparing it against(I guess the Majestic and Kaufman were both serious too)

but I found truman show too bay way more heavy handed then Eternal Sunshine

I can understand how people, especially someone who hasn't read a book that isn't printed in under 16 pt font, can hate on this movie.

I don't know how you can't at least respect the amount of creativity it took to make it though.

I like Eternal Sunshine when I watched it for the first time. Then I watched it again just recently and I didn't like it anymore.
