Nah Darabont has stated he wants to bring Michonne in earlier than they introduced her in the comics, she'll prob be in next season...I think it will end up being corny thoughAMASK wrote:finale was awful.
the whisper was either about A)shane trying to get it in B)they are ALL infected (like in the comic) C) lori is preggo D) the prison is close or D) carl has downs.
as bad ass as she might be, i have a sneaking suspicion michonne wont be included in the show or if she is it will be mad cliche and corny.
BUT
if she isnt, that will drastically effect the climax of the prison arc (which i massively doubt will be at all faithful to the comic)
in an interview kirkman said already that the show was "too faithful" to the comic??????????

fuck you, show.
Representatives for actor Charlie Sheen confirmed he will in fact be playing a zombie in one of the earlier episodes of season two of the wildly successful AMC series The Walking Dead. Sheen apparently told his publicist what a fan he was of the show recently, and the publicist, who also represents Walking Dead actor Jeffrey DeMunn, contacted one of the showגs producers and inquired if they were interested in allowing Sheen to be an extra on the film, playing the part of a zombie. The producer, himself a big fan of Sheenגs show Two and a Half Men, said גAbsolutely!ג
Upon hearing the news, Sheen was reportedly ecstatic, and has already cleared the shooting schedule with his Two and a Half Men duties. Sheenגs involvement may very well lead to others in the acting community making brief cameos as zombies, and idea Walking Dead creator Andrew Lincoln reportedly welcomes.
No word yet on what specific episode Sheen will be appearing in.

That's pretty funny IMO.
Thread is jokes. We were all fairly excited, then along came T-Dog, other bumps on the road, and now were nitpicking everything. At least no one called the end, with captain only-save-a-white-hoe and the expendable black lady, racist... yet.

Good zombie show with lots of humor, it also uses the zombie as a metaphor without being too gay about it.

Not seen a single episode of this yet and reading the comments here, it's all very disparaging. Can't believe how anyone could fuck around with this and mess it all up considering how awesome the source material was/is.
And yeah, Charlie Brooker's Dead Set was really good but I expected it to be completely redundant against The Walking Dead.

She's better in No Ordinary Family. She was overboard in Dexter.PopeyeJones wrote:--Obnoxious Wife--Blockhead wrote:Is it safe to say Dexter>>>The Walking dead?

Lauren Cohan is joining the zombie resistance.
The alum of Supernatural, Vampire Diaries and Chuck has landed a pivotal role on AMCגs The Walking Dead.
Cohan will recur as Maggie Greene, the sharp, self-reliant daughter of farm owner Hershel Greene and a love interest for Glenn (Steven Yuen), reports TV Guide Magazine.
Walking Dead Season 2 First Look: Hello, Gorgeous!
The role of Hershel, meanwhile, will be played by acting vet Scott Wilson, whoגs probably best known to TV audiences as Catherineגs biological father on CSI.
The duo join fellow new Dead hire Pruitt Taylor Vince, who was cast as the foreman at Hershelגs Farm ג which is where much of Season 2 will be set.
Darabont: גI can officially tell you Michonne is coming in third season.ג
Hurd: גIf we get a third season. So everyone better watch season two.ג
Me neither, but since the TV show isn't exactly faithful to it's source, it's hard to tell. Hopefully the new script-writers are a better bunch this time.alpha wrote:how long was the farm arc in comic? I can't remember. I'm actually much more concerned that Darabont isn't directing this shit again. I'm not sure that the pilot episode was that much better written or less cliche-ridden than any other episode in the first season, but under Darabont's direction it was still exciting and intense. Supposedly he's again only directing one episode.Spartan wrote:Me neither, but since the TV show isn't exactly faithful to it's source, it's hard to tell. imo, the source material is so good they really don't need to change the plot AT ALL. small changes are good. but bringing in the fucking CDC in the finale ...Tommy Bunz wrote:I'm actually much more concerned that Darabont isn't directing this shit again.
