Julius Seizure wrote:c'mon. the whole point of ben kingsley being in the episode was that he was waaay too good to even think about reading a script for this horseshit movie. he never would have met with them if he wasn't doing a favor for his agent. in fact, having to sit thru a meeting like that would be a reason for ben kingsley to fire an agent. the only reason he sat thru the meeting was because they were obviously thugs.

i think the idea that chris would seek revenge against ben kingsley might be the stupidest thing i've ever heard. worst prediction ever.

the pitch meeting with kingsley was hilarious. the whole line about "when you think of a hard ass motherfucker, you think kingsley" was a riot, seeing as he is best known for playing ghandi.

i also cracked up when tony had the line about carmine jr. being a "known retard" or whatever the line was.
Fuck You, that it was I got when Chris was peering through the Plane seats at him, forgive me for not being as mighty as you oh so fucking great

wow. who would have thought jaz would have overreacted. relax. its opinions about a tv show.

the only thing that would have been more ridiculous would have been for you to predict that Lauren Bacall was going to align herself with Phil Leotardo and whack chrissy for punching her in the face.

I liked the scene with Tony and AJ outside the precinct. Too bad the rest of the episode was wild homo.

Seriously -- not on this board, but other boards to, Robert Iler gets ripped a part. For what character he has to play (a spoiled and directionless teen), I feel that he does a good job.

Anyway, that scene with him and Tony outside the pricinct was amazing. It's funny, too -- with Tony selling the business and continuing on his "epiphany" of life, it seems like he's moving away from illegal activity. However, A.J. is doing the complete opposite.

Next episode looks awesome.

I've been harsh on AJ's acting in the past, but this episode he impressed me. The vomit was a little uncalled for, but he did a good job here, he was able to convey alot of emotions well through his facial expressions.

Yeah, throwaway episode. They are focusing on too many story lines that nobody cares about.

Lets get some mafia-story progression goin, nah mean?

:retard:

Nobody = Everyone but you.

Past 4 episodes have been heat. Sopranos is a character driven family drama as much as it is a Mob show.

yeah but you know he waddles in real life too. i just hope he lives another 10 years.

and i think i've become , cuz i really feel bad for him. i don't mind if he's gay at all, i just wish the future episodes don't involve him kissing johnny cakes anymore. you can't help but feel sorry for vito and his family.

Huge changes for Tony, turning down sex? I don't think he has ever done something like that. Then he essentially sold a piece of his mob life by selling the property. The question is, are these good or bad changes for someone like Tony Soprano?

The whole thing with AJ, possibly realizing he can't be like his dad even though everyone sees him as the son of Tony Soprano. Obviously less like Michael C and little more like Fredo. Then having the panic attacks. Great episode.

i really liked the thing with tony and the real estate chick, shows tremendous progress in the character. The subtle way they handled that was great, contrasting it with the property sale and using the buttons on the shirt as the mental trigger that snaps his contience into place. Him blowing up about the turkey was a really nice touch to round off the whole incident, he's so frustrated with himself not being able to cheat he blames Carmella for it.

Sopranos was too violent in the past, to the point where it wasnt realistic, the Mob used intimidation mainly, and violence when that wasn't enough(intimidation usually was enough)

the season has been really good

true, but I saw that shit coming from a mile away w/ him & carmella finally being able to fuck in the begining of the ep & then the set up scene w/ tony dressing up.....I was watching the show w/ my pops & I straight called that shit like "he's not gonna fuck her" right when he went to the real estate lady's house....then they start goin @ it & my dad's all clowning me like "right....nice call, bud!".....& I was like :meh: ......*then 10 seconds later w/ the buttons*....."hell yea! I told you son! called that shit!"....my dad gets hella mad when I call him son but I guess that's understandable.....

& word to drizzle....totally agree w/ you on your take on tony's charcter evolution.....

That chick that Tony didn't fuck was terrible.

At first she was like:

"I am engaged and it is going very well for me."

Than she just turns into:

"I think meeting at my house to sign the papers would be perfect!"

 @ Artie Bucco getting arrested in real life.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Actor John Ventimiglia, who plays troubled chef Artie Bucco on the TV show "The Sopranos," has been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and cocaine possession in Brooklyn, authorities said on Tuesday.

He was at least the fourth cast member of HBO show about a New Jersey mob family, now in its sixth season, to be arrested in the past year.

Ventimiglia pleaded not guilty following his arrest early on Monday morning and was released on his own recognizance, a spokesman for the Brooklyn District Attorney's office said.

A police officer pulled over Ventimiglia's Volkswagen Jetta after the car swerved out of its lane with the headlights out, the charge sheet says. Ventimiglia spoke with slurred speech, had red watery eyes and smelled of alcohol, the officer said.

Tests showed a blood alcohol level of 0.12 percent -- above the legal limit of 0.08 percent -- and Ventimiglia was carrying a small plastic bag with the residue of a white powder believed to be cocaine, police said.

"John feels terrible and embarrassed. Until we gather all the information we will have no further comment," his lawyer, Benjamin Petrofsky, said in a statement.

Ventimiglia's character Artie Bucco is having problems on the show. His restaurant is losing business to a new competitor and lead character Tony Soprano has told Bucco he annoys customers with his long-winded ramblings.

In November Vincent Pastore, who played "Big Pussy" in the first two years of the show, pleaded guilty to attempted assault on his girlfriend and was sentenced to community service and to undergo therapy for anger management.

In December, police arrested Lillo Brancato, who played an aspiring mobster, on suspicion of carrying out a burglary in which a police officer was shot and killed. And on Sunday Louis Gross, who plays bodyguard Perry Annunziata, was arrested on charges he broke into a New York home.

In 2002 Robert Iler, who plays Tony Soprano's son A.J., pleaded guilty to robbery charges and received three years probation.
