Best Royal Rumble?

Post by Smithee »

^^^ I say 1992 is the GOAT....where Ric Flair was #3 to enter & he still won....after Sycho Sid started a beef w/ Hulk Hogan for no reason.....

'90 or '91 was ill too....when ax & smash had to set it off....& that fool the barbarian (??) went in the ring for one second, threw his arms up, then got knocked out a second later by Hulk Hogan .....& when the million dollar man bought his way to the #30 spot   "everybodys got a price"

I went to RR '98 live in San Jose.....it kinda sucked.....except for when kane threw the Undertaker into a casket & lit it on fire.....shit was :rockout: .....see, that was the ILL old school kane, before he stopped wearing a mask & we found out that vince mcmahon was :larry: cause that fool didnt have a burnt face!

I saw the one in Tampa i think it was 96 when Bam Bam started shit with LT and Michaels one with the both feet really did not touch the floor sneak back in to the ring to hit the Britsh Bull Dog from behind move.

I really liked the one in 1990 where Hulk Hogan one and the Million Dollar Man was number 1 and lasted fairly long. Andre the Giant was eliminated by the Demolition

Good times.

LMAO...I'm glad so many remember it!!!!!!! I don't know what year it was but this was the first one my parents let me buy on PPV, all the others I had to get from my cousin who ghetto rigged VHS copies of them almost all through the 80's...his method for this I'm not sure of, I just know he had them all on tape and he got me hooked. His mother was a heroin addict and he lived with my grandma and she would buy him the PPV. In fact I owe him my whole wrestling fandom... I would always tell them(myparents) to let me get it and they said it was to violent...Finally they did and it was this one, I'm not sure who won but I think they were in very very early...Anyways I had like 10 friends over that night 3 I didn't even know personally and we watched it...When the Bushwacker came in someone goes "oh man he's my favorite" then he got tossed in .03 and the dude goes "see" and we all laughed because it was gully as fuck to go in wacking get tossed and then wack back out like a G.... one of my fondest TV memories EVA!!! If someone remembers the year speak up!

lol @ one of the bushwackers being that kids favorite wrestler. most people had hogan or warrior. but that kid was ahead of his time.

he was probably the first to ever knock anticon.

One of my favourites (and I can't remember the year) was when the victor would earn the number 1 contender for the title and the last two remaining were Vince McMahon & Stone Cold.

Austin was whooping Vince as you'd expct until newly crowned Champ The Rock came down ad distracted Austin enough for Vince to pick up the win.

I must admit that I remember this more for the I Quit title match bewteen Rock & Mankind were Rock was an animal and beat Foley to a pulp before standing over him Gladiator style with the title belt.....in a match they said he couldn't win!

I need a gif of Rock holding that belt over Foley and then kicking the stretcher over!

Bushwacker Luke spent the shortest time ever in a Rumble when he entered and left in a record three seconds.
Bwhahaha...I need to see this again.
