What do you do?

Yo Guun, is pricing substantially different depending on where you live?
I don't see how I'm paying nearly double what Gloss pays down in Rat Mouth.

Is there a way I can lower my bill?
And if not, can we looking into getting Florida to pay it's fair share?
Thx,

I've heard the trick with comcast is to switch the bill to someone else when your promo ends and your bill skyrockets.

If you just threaten to leave every time your promo ends won't they damn near automatically re-instate the promo too?

(I have no experience with this, but it's what I've been told)

Ah, okay. I've heard this from a few folks with Comcast in the bay, so maybe it would be different for Jayou. No idea, though.

All you people bitching about comcast have no idea how good you have it. There is ONE cable provider here, so they can charge whatever the fuck they want and you can either pay it or not have cable. Their hd package is a joke as well, they have shit like home and garden and the cooking Chanel in HD, but not CBS. I know a few people with directv, but it is always freezing and going out and fuck that during a game. They also have the only decent high speed internet, shit is robbery. I pay a little under $200 a month for cable and internet combined. Spendy, but I use both daily, and it's worth it.

I was grandfathered in with my Adelphia contract. But I do know bigger markets have bigger deals.

I've been re-upping on promo deals with Comcast since I moved into my current house. It can sometimes be a pain in the ass if you get someone who's just gonna be a dick. But all you have to say is the magic words "Well, Verizon's offering..." and they'll play ball. A co-worker is currently paying $98 a month for phone, internet, an HD set with 2 premium channels and a DVR. I'll be jumping on that deal next when my current promo runs out.

Whenever you call comcast immediately ask to speak to the retention department, they can work wonders.

I really don't. Thanksgiving and Christmas are the two times of the year I'll watch football. Superbowl on occasion. Basketball used to be my shit, but for one forgettable reason or another I stopped watching.
Who are you lying for???

You are getting creepy now in addition to being a full-throated retard. I logged that post almost an entire day ago which means you've been frantically searching for any evidence that would contradict my post or frantically thinking about searching for any evidence that would contradict my post. That's weird. That is what retarded faggots do. Often times, and this will come as a shock to you especially, I play the contrarian.

I am an avid NBA fan. I have season tickets to the Warriors. The Warriors. That's how much of a fan I am. I routinely bet on games too.

I am a huge boxing fan. I nearly shit in my pants the other day when Mayweather called out Pacquiao on Twitter. I also routinely bet on boxing matches.

Those are my two sports. Baseball is now and always has been boring as fuck to me. Football is much of the same.

You're more than welcome to reposition yourself on my dick now. I'm done derailing this thread.

An avid NBA fan who has season tickets... LOL. How you go from stop watching basketball to having season tickets?? Must be hard to go to stadium FULL OF PEOPLE if you have sever social anxiety too, right?... WHO ARE YOU LYING FOR?? The boxing part is even more hilarious.. Nobody believes you.

No more Eagles and four months until Phillies opening day, figured I'll save a few bills and catch up on my dvd backlog.
Really doubt I'll miss it at all.
If anyone knows a way that I can stream Phillies games even though I'm in the blackout area I will be your best friend for life and/or buy you a hooker.

So I've basically made it an entire year without cable. Felt great. Mostly just caught up on some of my dvd/bluray backlog and downloaded all my tv shows. It was a massive pain in the ass to keep up with sports but other than that whatever.

Comcast has called me a couple of times this year trying to get me back and I kept telling them they were too expensive and to piss off. Well they just called me again and offered me hi-speed internet, full cable + HBO for $69.99/month. :ohsh:
Guaranteed for a year then it bumps up to 89.99 (still cheap as shit). Have to pay an extra $6 for the HD box but whatever. Insane deal, was paying $60/month for just internet this year anyways.
Fuck you comcast, I won. I was paying $180/month for this shit just a year ago. Winning.

Welcome back! I'm paying $140/month which includes second highest Internet package, digital cable, sports package (FOX Soccer Plus, beIN SPORT, YES, and a ton of FSN regionals), DVR, and HBO.
My promo for all of that ends in February and I have no idea what the price will be after that. I have to remember to call them to get another promo deal or threaten to cancel.

Tommy, you could have just bought a cloned modem for 400$ and never had to pay an internet bill again. Or at least for a few years.
