My stupid ass never got one when Babbages was going out of sale (they had it for $15 with 3 games!!!) .......I'm going to get one now because on Ebay they are cheap as fuck. I remember laughing at the "wack ass graphics" but you already know how that works (i.e. Firepro and Gunstar) so I know the games are prolly fun as fuck.....if any of ya'll have one lemme know what's the deal.

Get SNK Vs Capcom and Metal Slug 2nd mission

I promise you SNK Vs Capcom will be the best handheld fighter you have ever played

Aside from those two I don't know what's really good. Didn't own much else.

I also hear Cardfighter's Clash is very good RPG.

For all your answers. These motherfucks know what's up. It's pretty much the only active ngp forum on the net, and I should know, I've been posting there off and on for like 7 years now. Substance J, the dude who runs the site is an OG Firepro head too. He got me into the games back when. Plus we even used to have a couple Gamefan writers post there.

Anyway, there's really only a couple of games *not* to get for the NGPC, it's a pretty solid system. Definately get SNK vs Capcom Match of the Millenium, both Cardfighters' Clash (except part 2 is Japanese only. Part 1 is one of my favorite rpgs ever though). SNK Gal's Fighters is solid, but not *necessary*, same with the Sam Sho's, and Fatal Fury. King of Fighters R-2 is dope. I guess the thing is, all the fighting games on the system are good, it's just that Match of the Millenium raised the bar so high that the others can't reach it. The Last Blade game might be my second favorite fighter on the system. I guess now the problem with the system is that although the games were great at the time, there's not really much point in buying like, the Sonic game for the system since now there's a better one on the DS.

Couple good sports games too. Neo Turf Masters and Neo Geo Cup 98 PLUS are both dope.

Faselei is a dope RPG, but it used to go for exorbitant prices, I'm not sure if it still does. Skip Pocket Reversi and Evolution, those are the other two super expensive games. (At one point Reversi was going for $500+).

Cotton is a pretty faithful conversion of the old games (obviously it's not gonna look the Saturn versions). The Metal Slugs are tons of fun.

And lastly, although I never owned it, Ganbare Neo Poke Kun is widely regarded as the systems best game after Match of the Millenium. Think Wario Ware but better.

I <3 my NGPC

for platformers, the Metal Slug games are great, as well as Sonic the Hedgehog (its basically a remake of Sonic 2 for Genesis)

Baseball Stars is pretty cool too, if you like NES-type baseball games

and oh yeah, I'm also partial to Bust-A-Move Pocket

I'm kind of embarrased that I have a NGPC but not KOF, Samurai Showdown, or SNK Vs Capcom. I need to get those asap
