Want an ultra compact digital camera...

Considering mainly the Canon SD400 and the Casio EX-S500. Both 5.1 megapixel and similar in statistics, but I hear the SD400 takes better quality pics while the S500 is even smaller than the SD400. Any ideas or suggestions from people who know what they are talking about somewhat? Ive been reading reviews.

I hear image quality is poor compared to pretty much every other brand plus its like $100+ more. And the Casio is smaller and the same weight.
