Contra but I'll probably pick Mario 3 50% of the time.

Simon's Quest is an odd Castlevania pick. I'd take III over it any day.

Yeah I'm aware III is considered the best, but the music during the curse in II is just killer.

Tecmo Super Bowl. The stat tracking absolutely amazed me. No other game did I play full seasons or even simulate seasons just to see the standings, playoffs, league leaders, etc...

I also beasted with Dave Meggett in that game.

As much as I love Super Mario 3, the original Super Mario Bros gets my non-sports vote

Tough decision, Mario 3 is probably the best game, love Tecmo too, but I'm going with Mega Man 2 from the list. I think Tecmo is the only one I'd still enjoy playing today, but I loved those Mega Man games back in the day.

Every game listed is great, a lot of them are classics, but to me Zelda is the best game to come out on the NES.

Picked zelda. I replay that game almost yearly. It's pretty much the homeric epic of adventure games.
