Rockstar's Red Dead Revolver was alot of fun but flawed with the cumbersome controls and duals. Hopefully this new one will improve on it. Definitely hyped for this game.

coulda swore I used to play the first one on the PC like mad, but looking for it now, it seems like it never came out on the PC. Was there a red dead before the rockstar one??

The original Red Dead Revolver was meant to be released by Capcom but for some reason or another they pulled out and the game was finished by Rockstar studios. It was pretty great and felt like every dope western I ever watched. Aside from the flaws I already mentioned it was a really dope game. Not sure if it was released on PC, it was originally out on PS2 & Xbox.

Redemption looks dope, it's only a game teaser but from my observation it could be the actual graphics engine in the trailer so it looks already special. Hopefully everything is ironed out.

loved the first one. it was a little hard to control, but whatever...the fact that it was a kick ass western made all the issues with the game completely tolerable. whens this coming out?

Revolver was fun as hell. seems not too many people knew about it though. hopefully this gets more burn. looks great.

I 100 percent cosign this statement. I can't remember if I played the first one but did anyone play Gun on the ps2? It was also pretty much GTA on horseback. I remember liking that game a lot. Red Dead Redemption looks sick as fuck. The fact that it doesn't come out until the end of March, according to Amazon, blows. Anyone play that Call Of Juarez: Bound In Blood game? Are there any other notable western games besides these and whatever else was mentioned in this thread so far?

I lost sight of this game for some reason after reading about it a while ago, but after watching those trailers I am pretty excited about it.

I wish more companies would focus on characters, dialogue, and setting the way they do.
