I have a 40 shadow priest on Tichondrius but I stopped playing once I got my mount. I just can't come home from work and play it anymore, I see it too much as it is. I play the crap out of DOTA for WarIII though.

One of my best friends is a gamer( i usually only play ps2). Him and his gf play this game together. He is so into this game that he came over to my house yesterday,bought the game ,head set, and the membership and hooked it all up. After one night of playin i must admit, this game is crack. The good thing is my gf goes to bed around 9 everynight which usually leaves me board.

is this a type of game that someone like me (read: mostly plays sports and/or racing games) could pick up easily?

when i was in college, a couple of my buddies used to play computer games where it seemed like to me, there was no action, just them messing with different rankings and numbers and whatnot.

dude kept on telling me to hold on, he was about to do something sweet, i'd watch, nothing would happen, and he'd go, 'YEEEAH!'

i'd seriously give this a whirl if it wouldn't take me a month to figure out how to control shit. that's why i don't buy most games, because i didn't grow up with those types of games, and i'm a fucking idiot when it comes to learning those types of skills...

I got to level 40, got a mount, night elf rogue... decided the game was worthless... But ill tell you, it ate up a couple months of my life.

ive been to both worlds... everquest is at least 10 thousand times better...

not that new everquest2 bullshit, the original one... everquest was the dopest

P.S. i got to level 64 in that game, and that was when the level cap was lvl 65, so i know plenty about that game taking up a fuckload of time

Yea, the chinese farmers suck. They fuck up the economy of a server.

I will also say, I have perfectly balanced my life with this game and it has not took up all of my time. It did for about the first 2 weeks, though

These kats farm gold, items, weapons, etc. and then sell it online for real life money.

For example, there are web sites where ytou can buy game gold, level 60 characters, unique items and weapons.

Now I know what you are thinking..because I thought it, too. I did the math to it, however, and the money you could make in real life from farming doesn't balance out with the time you have to invest into it.
