Annoying Laptop Fan.

Just got a new (used) Gateway, has dual AMD processors. Works fabulously, fastest machine i've ever owned.

however, when the fan comes on, it's not steady. its like a wave, on then off then on then off.



i'd like to make it be consistent. shit is mad annoying yo. for example, if im on skype the fan noise is picked up thru the mic and makes chat UNPOSSIBLE.

also, this happens when i do stuff on the comp, also happens when it's rather idle.

The fans are for cooling when your mob gets too hot. You might consider buying a chill pad, it helps keep it cool and prevent the louder system fans from coming on so often. There will still be fans going, but quieter operation and it being constant could help.
