I've been on a real Project Blowed kick lately, and with the blog post and DJ Drez threads going on I decided to make a general Blowed thread. I know there are some PB heads in here, so if you've got some albums to share you know the time...

I'll start it off:

(Rifleman) Ellay Khule - Riflemania

I know some of the "KClassixx" compilations have popped up in TROY before, and while all of Rifleman's shit is dope this is the album of his that slaps the hardest. The beats (which is usually where Afterlife albums suffer) are top-notch and Rifleman is a style monster as usual. Highly recommended album, if you like the Blowed I guarantee you will love it.

A few more:

Pterradacto - Dactovision, Mixtape Volume 1, & Primal Rage

Dacto is the other half of Hip Hop KClan and Rifleman Ellay Khule's younger brother. I think he's always been kind of overshadowed by Rifleman but nevertheless he's extremely dope in his own right. Curbserver stylee all over these albums so you know there's some crazy lyrical chopping going on; a lot of Dacto's songs require multiple listenings to decipher what the dude is saying. Some really deep soulful shit on these records.

As with all Afterlife releases some of these beats sound like they were recorded in a trash can with a broken Roland synth and an ancient four-track recorder but fuck it, shit is still very good. Do not sleep.

Here's another Afterlife album; it was just upped in the Weekly Request Thread by Anthony and I figured I'd throw it up here as well:

Riddlore? - Goodriddendz '99

I've only ever had this album in incomplete forum; it's been out of print for years so the only copy I've been able to find (until now) is one that was uploaded on some weird Spanish music blog that actually posted a gang of other rare Blowed releases. I like what I've heard so far off of the album and I'm looking forward to hearing the missing cuts as well.

Good stuff, I'm only vaguely familiar with the PB discog/roster, I actually downloaded those three Pterradacto albums a while back (not knowing they were Project Blowed) and haven't listened yet, I am far more apt to listen now.

OK, after just fuckin' around the other day searching with Google Blogs I found this random blog with a gang of rare Blowed shit on it. I just went ahead and linked to the individual posts as this dude previously linked to my Ganjah K post on the TROY blog. Share and share alike, yadadimean?

Anyway, I've been on the hunt for the Tray Loc jawn for about two and a half years now and had pretty much given up hope for ever seeing it on the net. Same with the Medusa EP. It's a goddamn shame SHE didn't release more music, especially that rumored album with the production done entirely by Organized Noize.

As far as the Fat Jack tape, well that was just a nice surprise. Fucking dope. Never heard of it before though; same thing with the "Portrait of a Ghetto Raised" tape. I hope you guys will enjoy this shit as much as I will.

Unfortunately, it looks as if this "Jack Devo" character stopped updating both of his blogs in July, so I'm pretty sure that resource is tapped for Blowed shit. He's got some other wonderfully weird shit, like Orko the Sycotik Alien's first tape...you know, if that's your thing.

@bignormy... i hate seeing lists like that because i don't have any of that shit. i used to keep a copy of lists like that, but not anymore, just pisses me off. i actually know a couple ppl with tons of stuff like that and they don't share. i think that's so fucked. at the very least charge money for it! i MIGHT have like two of those medusa tracks, i'll check. i'm posting some stuff now, and i have to get some stuff out of archives. enjoy...

Mediafire is probably the best out of what I know.

I guess ADrive is pretty good too, but I don't know much about them.
