Yes, that's them.

And that Ill Kid Jumbo Sampler is nice! I played 2 joints off of it on the last Mix CD I posted here...

Nice mix for the bbq, burnt shoulders/head, feet and legs.

And the food to be well done on the outside (burnt), barely cooked on the inside (raw). Typical UK barbie, lol.

http://rapidshare.com/files/239421954/S ... Part_2.mp3

I got more, just need a bit of time

**There may be a few pops/click now and then, but thats how they came to me.

Howfresh wrote:What's the deal everybody? Here's a Stretch & Bob show from 1994- not exactly sure of the date. IG Off and Kwest the Maad Lad were on this show- that's for a date reference, I don't have their sets on here- this is the tail end of the show.

Both sides on one file- the shit is a bit bugged. Jazz at the end- the last 31 minutes and I don't have software to edit- though In a Sentimental Mood by Coltrane and Ellington is the first track and that shit is incredible. There's a brief jazz interlude about 15 minutes in to the tape- no clue how that happened.

Here's a quick rundown. Not sure about a couple of tracks. I'm sure the hounds are on it.

http://www.zshare.net/audio/591432448fd9c9d0/

Shyheim- On & On remix, Scientific & Ed OG- As Long as You Know, MOP- How About Some Hardcore, Strictly Roots- Begs No Friends, jazz interlude (no clue), N-Tyce- Hush Hush Tip, Tribe- G-d Lives Through, Jungle Brothers- On the Road Again, not sure- dope though- sounds familiar but can't catch it, Queen Latifah joint, KRS One- Mortal Thought, LONS- Spontaneous, Method Man- Method Man remix, Kurious- Uptown Shit, RunDMC- Can I Get it Yo, Biggie ft. Mary- What's the 411 remix, Down South- Southern Comfort, Heiroglyphics joint, Whodini- All Comes Down to the Money, Lakim Shabazz- When A Wise Man Speaks, little talking- show over- Jazzman show after starts at 1:13:15- 31 minutes of jazz- frist track is In a Sentimental Mood by Ellington and Coltrane- dopeness, followed by no clue
Operation Radification - Tray Pound God (as serch mentioned)...Queen Latifah ג€“ U.N.I.T.Y. (Big Titty Remix)....Souls of Mischief ג€“ Make Up Your Mind.... John Coltrane - A Love Supreme Part 1 & 2 (not the studio versions on my LP, I'm guessing the live/alt takes on the CD Deluxe Ed)... then you got the first 4 tracks off the b-side of Brand Nubian's One For All.

lol, sounds like this tape was re-recorded on 3+ times...

^Lol, yeah, he probably originally had it as a dub of the Brand Nubian tape first. Then, taped some Jazz over it. Then, didn't have a blank tape for the Bobbito show and just grabbed that one and taped.
That's how I used to do as far as grabbing the nearest, least important, most easily replaceable tape and dub over it. Heh

Heres some more Stretch Armstrong & Bobbito from '94. The start is a little muffled to begin with then normalizes itself.

I was about to say that sounded like Summertime.

Sure this tape is from 94 not 93?
Either way, thanks.
And got-damn, what great summers they were.

Here's that Powerule Volume 1-

Here's a recording of Funkmaster Flex on Tim Westwoods BBC Radio1 hip hop show from 30.09.95.

When i was recording these back in the day, i always edited as much of the chattering out to keep it mostly the music.

Good looking out, blud. Any and all Westwood rips are muchly appreciated. Thanks.

I had shoe boxes full of mid 90s Westwood tapes, but must have left them at my parents' yard back in the UK.

If anyone has the show where Ol' Dirty Bastard & Buddha Monk take over, I'd really like a link? Cheers.

As Portishead's touring DJ and club legend ... Smith takes more of a neo-classical DJ approach by seamlessly segueing vintage funk, R&B, and soul with doses of contemporary hip-hop. Deft cuts, scratches and pitch manipulation show up here and there, but Smith's greatest skill lies in the blend.

here is tracklist

1. G.B. Beats - G.B. Beats
2. Jungle Brothers - How Ya Want It We Got It
3. Jeru the Damaja - Come Clean
4. The Meters - Cissy Strutt
5. James Gang - Funk #49
6. Love Unlimited - Can't Seem to Find Him
7. Jeep Beat Collective - Stop Ya Skemes
8. Marvin Gaye - "T" Plays It Cool
9. Tom Jones - Looking Out My Window
10. Clockwork Voodoo Freaks - Deaf Mick's Throwdown
11. Grandmaster Flash - Adventures of Grandmaster Flash on the Wheels of Steel
12. Peggy Lee - (Sittin' on) The Dock of the Bay
13. SL Troopers - Movement
14. The Spencer Davis Group - I'm a Man
15. Love Unlimited - Can't Seem to Find Him (Reprise)
