I'd like to think this would be an even poll. In my humble opinion, it could go either way. Nas was a brilliant story teller and the second coming of Rah on his debut, but Ice Cube did the unthinkable and left a super-group to create one of the greatest albums of all-time.
BTW, Cube is the ONLY solo artist in hip-hop to create to back-to-back classic albums that are simply flawless. You maybe able to say a few names that created dope or "classic," but if you put them up against Cubes' "Death Certificate" & "Amerikkka's Most Wanted, it won't even come close.
vs.

Maybe, but you'll see a lot of people actually say that they perfer Cube. I'm betting Clark Bent goes with O'Shea. The older heads LOVED some Illmatic, but when Cube dropped, he was the greatest.

illmatic by far
amerikkkas most isnt even as good as predator much less death certificate
death certificate vs illmatic would be a battle...but in the end illmatic is gonna beat pretty much any album with the possible exceptions of wu-tang and tribe

^
Close poll. For sure I thought some cats would be selecting Cube on this one. There has been people on here to even say IWW was better than Illmatic. Wow.
I'll change this tomorrow for D.C.

I like Illmatic, but Amerikkka's Most Wanted is my favorite rap album of all time, so I had to pick that one.
I mean, I even like "The Bomb." Sue me.

I wouldn't even waste the time with a DC / Illmatic poll. It may be closer than this poll, but not much.
I am not sure any album could beat Illmatic in this forum.
