I thought I knew hip hop having collected it from back in 1991 but lost interest round about the times of the last Biggie album and Neptune’s early stuff. So I guess 1997 ish

I gotta lot of the rest already. I was after the more unknown type of groups or mcs.

I don’t know if its labelled independent hiphop or backpacker hiphop.

I probably should go through the stretch and bobito show from those years.

I feel the best bet would be to just start checking mixes from those years your curious about, then use discogs and Spotify to research and compile more info on each artist. Depending on which content network you use, each artist you find will lead you to another in the same vein/era.
