I check in on this thread from time to time and the dedication that continues amazes me. Huge props to all of the contributors past and present who have taken the time to collect, consolidate, upload, share links, make track lists, etc.

have to get around to rip it some time
Re: Mapping out the Stretch N Bobbito Show History(w/tape ri
Please do, serch. In fact, any Lost Breakbeat series you have (apart from the ones available at 1994hiphop) is much in demand (by me, at least).
Re: Mapping out the Stretch N Bobbito Show History(w/tape ri
Bobbito just shared on his facebook here https://www.facebook.com/bobbitogarciaa ... 0822703123
old footage of the show from Oct 24 1994, f. a Cella Dwellaz promo & Rob Swift mixing
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-MZwEMA9yk
From the Danish documentary Jetlag. above link is 8-min clipped version.
Full 15 min docu here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fCYUNEjZlM
and a user in the comments posted a feature she shot, on the Jan 28 1993 show -- freestyles by Unique
& OC.

Re: Mapping out the Stretch N Bobbito Show History(w/tape ri
^Whuuuuut!? I think I've seen the public access show, if not that one then a very similar around the same time, also featuring OC and another cat freestyling. I remember S&B advertising it the week before it aired. Caught it 2 or 3 in the am on one of those NY PBS channels. But could swear that they did a short promo for the camera too, I remember Bob's cap clearly...
Might have been their first time on tv; certainly the first time I caught their faces. Thanks for finding it!

Irish tipped me off that the docu above (Jetlag) was re-released by the filmmaker, DWG Jesper, in ~35 min full version here http://forum.diggerswithgratitude.com/s ... c-SOLD-OUT

TheBigSleep -- could we get unikone up in pf? Suuper-nice guy.
aleph that's nuts that you were on it the first time around.
Brendan no doubt.
Also seems like YouTube comments is a whole nother vector for finding people w tapes-- already chatted w two people from the Bobbito FB post, above, with tapes "back at their moms'" etc. One of them recorded full shows on VHS. I mean, shit, right? It's a whole nother batch of work, but maybe someday somebody with the organizational acumen of a Jamo could slap together a sick spreadsheet of Youtube S&B vids and which have been sifted for commenters, etc., haha.
Last, anyone know this guy? http://www.youtube.com/user/OldSchoolBrothaz/about
His blog is full of pf/T.R.O.Y.~ish stuff (eg Terror Green), and he's been posting S&B stuff on YT in the last month or so-- not sure if they're new rips. Waiting on email reply from the guy.
unikone at hiphop-thegoldenera just did the tracklist for the 1997 12.04 showStieflkater wrote: Please need tracklists for:

Re: Mapping out the Stretch N Bobbito Show History(w/tape ri
yo Aleph, which 45 king joints are the best? he has a lot, I only have the orange label one with 94 mad skillz freestyle beat
Re: Mapping out the Stretch N Bobbito Show History(w/tape ri
^Tough call, as you know he made very few beats that could remotely be called boring. I bump the Lost Breakbeats cd (which is the Yellow Album plus a few more) like it was a regular album.
Go to http://www.1994hiphop.net/category/the-45-king/ for a bunch of the Lost series- White, Brown, Grey and Pink, all great collections. Listening to Beige now, shit's hot, has a couple of great rap joints I hadn't heard. Also get Grooves For A Quiet Storm, I could listen to Magic Beans all day
Could you upload Orange sometime if you get a chance?

Re: Mapping out the Stretch N Bobbito Show History(w/tape ri
i dont know about yall and this could b up for debate but i think the funniest Stretch & Bob show gotta be that September 1997 show that Eclipse posted, its the show where they was imitating Billy bob Thorton from Slingblade.
i havent heard Bobbito laugh so much and hard on any other show except the 10th anniversary show
