Let's talk about the music. Take the other shit to private messages if you have to.
Agreed...we need to get rid of Thun as a mod, as you are not a retard Odnet, I am sure you can see that I was simply stating a fact...what album did you choose?
I prefer Death Certificate over Redman's first album. I never really liked his first album that much, though, honestly. Death Certificate is one of the GOAT's, and is brilliant all around. I can understand disliking his viewpoint on things, but at least he has a viewpoint and was taking risks. The first Redman album is fairly boring to me, especially production-wise. I also hate the way it's mixed. It just doesn't really hit right.

I somewhat agree. I'd take Dare and even Muddy Waters over this any day.

Try to provide yourself with a little but of historical context before entering into a debate you can't possibly win.
Also Thun, neocolonialism is more of a national imperialistic construct rather than a systemic social archetype although you were probably referring more to the time frame following the 18th century and not a lack of egalitarian thought (as one could argue grew more out of the social equality movements of the 19th and 20th centuries).

In closing, no one gives a shit - this is a hiphop forum clownshoes.
Oh, good point.

Edit: You are absolutely correct that I misused the term (in my defense, in haste, and in a rush to *zing* ol' Jaz) and that I should have simply stated what I meant, which was probably something along the lines of "through the late 1960s" or whatever. Still, the little clownshoes (is this a 2004 internet slang word?) remark kind of undermines whatever larger point you were trying to make (I guess - you didn't like this discussion and you wanted to announce your arrival in the thread?).

I'd actually like to see more conflict, personally. We've had a decade of baseball card trading pseudo-camaraderie around here. I don't think a few barbs back and forth in the context of a music related discussion will destroy your upload/download experience. Take a chill pill.

Death Certificate is as close as you can come to the perfect album. Not a single skippable track on it and it is as cohesive and continuous as you can get.

WUT is a great album, but against DC its going down.

Oh and Thun is actually on point about "Horny Little Devil". It wasn't an attack on white men in general. However, I can completely understand how it could be taken that way.

There was nothing racist about DC. Prejudice, HELL YEAH, but not racist.
