Okay. To me, the only time that Bootlegs should be accepted are when that is the ONLY way a specific song is available on vinyl.
Why would I want some Bootleg record/recording when that specific song or songs ARE available on an official promo/regular 12"/EP/LP??? Not to mention the quality iussues. I always want the proper quality as well. A lot of times bootlegs have songs in sketchy quality. Again, if a bootleg is the ONLY way a song is available on vinyl, then fine, I probably have it myself, but yeah...

Pretty much EVERY InI release (according to Pete Rock) is a bootleg. The white label WITHOUT an Elektra label or whatever that I have is supposedly from the semi-unfinished masters. The quality is GOOD! And some of the songs are longer and more proper versions then all the other bootleg versions. Most of the other bootleg versions have songs with FASTER bpm's and songs that fade out 30 - 40 seconds before they should.
