Both of these are worthwhile for the bonus tracks alone, which contain some of Tragedy's best and most influential work, but if you don't already have Intelligent Hoodlum or Saga of a Hoodlum, DEFINITELY do yourself the favor of downloading these albums. The production is classic K-Def and Marley Marl, the rhymes are classic Tragedy. These and The War Report are Tragedy's defining hip hop moments. Saga of a Hoodlum especially is a beast of an album production wise. K-Def never gets the props he deserves historically.

Please repost the ACD lp

Post by shadowmaster »

Damn I missed the ACD, link is dead.

One of my fave verses ever is the one by one of the ACD guys on Streetlife, I had no idea they had any lps out. I knew of a 12 by them but that's it.

I hate to beg but please reshare the ACD lp.

You really have no idea how much I would appreciate that.

Also, please someone reup the give up the goods demo from the 90s thread and the bridge 2000 by Trag and Imam Thug, the link in the other thread was dead.

And for all the other stuff a big Thank You, especially the Trag documentary which I've been looking for ever since it was first mentioned, I am shocked that you posted it so long ago and so happy that the link was alive.

Much Thanks in order.

Trag n Nas

Post by shadowmaster »

I upped a Trag compilation and some Nas/Premier blends to share here.

I'm a bit  that nobody bothered replying to my post in the 90s thread asking for a reup of the Mobb demos. I actually had them before but they were lost in a HD failure. I posted some tracks in that thread but nobody replied or upped the demos or the Cash Money Click - Get The Fortune which I requested. I would love the 12 but just the track or instrumental would do me fine.

Then it seems nobody is willing to reup the ACD lp here. I checked Ebay but noones selling that shit, I'm a fan and I would part money for that any day of the week.

Anyway, I'm a newcomer here so it's apparent that the newbies don't deserve shit. Basic human nature is to be wary of strangers I suppose.

I would rip some 12s and share them here but what's the point when the internets are full of almost every 12 in existance except for some ultra rare shit?

Anyway I can post some Trag videos, G Rap videos, in high quality format if anyone needs them. I also have the CNN and Mobb Deep Freestyle Flavas comps.

Even though it's no love for newbies here I'm sharing something to show appreciation for the Trag documentary which I was very pleased to get from here and the ACD stuff which still had working links.

I downloaded this Tragedy compilation put together by Mightyvibes a few years ago.

Tragedy aka Intelligent Hoodlum - B-sides & remixes 88-97

Tracklisting:

1.Tragedy - The Rebel
2.Tragedy - Live Motivator
3.Intelligent Hoodlum - Back To Reality (Marley's Mix)
4.Intelligent Hoodlum - Back To Reality (UK rmx)
6.Intelligent Hoodlum - Arrest The President (assault mix)
7.Intelligent Hoodlum - At Large (Marley mix)
8.Intelligent Hoodlum - Street Life (return of the life mix)
9.Intelligent Hoodlum - Street Life (remix)
10.Intelligent Hoodlum - Mad brothas know his name (rmx)
11. Tragedy - Pass da tek (Extra-P rmx)
12.Tragedy - Da Funk mode (Extra-P rmx ft Havoc)
13. Tragedy - LA, LA (Kuwait mix clean)
14.Tragedy - LA, LA (Iraq mix)
15. Tragedy - The Judas Theory

http://www.sendspace.com/file/y3v6sl

The next one is a Nas and Premo blend which I downloaded a few weeks ago. I don't know much about this one but some of the blends are nice.

nas and dj premier blends - pre matic noize mob djs

Couldn't be bothered to do a tracklisting, it's around 20 tracks with some of Nas' more popular tracks (or whichever acapellas were available) over some well known Premo beats.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/zspeur

I won't be killing the links, they'll last as long as sendspace doesn't end them.

Would still appreciate the ACD lp, Mobb Demos and Cash Money Click 12 if anyone has it.

Peace

The first ACD link is dead.

About the Trag docu, it ends unexpectedly at the 99 min mark, is it missing the ending?

Ill try and post some more Trag soon.

mixtape

Post by shadowmaster »

Here's a JR Ewing mixtape called Queens Kingz. The track titles weren't accurate with regards to artists so the track listing I came up with maybe a bit dodgy.

Note - quality is 128kbps but that's the way it came when I downloaded it.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/vcchma

I would've posted Endless Tragedies but someone already did that.

01:Queens Day Intro
02:Capone -Gangsta Paradise Anthem
03:Darcsyde -Everyday (All About The Cash Remix)
04:black jesus -Modern Day Thug
05:Cash aka Vigilante -Drunken Style
06:Ali Vegas -I'm From The Ghetto
07:Half-A-Do -Riding Thru The Hood
08:Bars'n'Hooks & Prodigy -The Message 2002
09:Shadyville Allstars -Nowadays
10:Nas, Run & Prodigy -Queens Day
11:Willie Stubz -Q.U.E.E.N.S
12:Kool G Rap -Take A Loss
13:Complexions -Complexion
14:Queens Night Intro
15:Cormega, Poet & Jungle -Strait Outta QB
16:Troy S.l.u.g.s-Action (Sucker Mcs 2003)
17:Prodigy -Avirex
18:Eye Mob-I.M.3
19:Littles -Stay Free
20:Tragedy & Imam Thug -True Confessions
21:Q.U -Bless Me
22:Chrome Rebel Dynasty -Escape From Iraq
23:Royal Flush & The Wastelanz -No Love
24:Famous Fam -Backwards
25:Outro

The link should last a while, I wont be killing it.

he Chrome Rebel Dynasty track is quite nice.

Somebody please up The Bridge 2000 and Mobb Demos for me. It would be appreciated, show some love here.

I'll post some more QB shit soon.

I downloaded the JR Ewing tape from soulseek, but found out today that a blog had also shared it recently. I would just like to point out that I would've credited the blog had I known they were the one's who ripped it.

There's still a chance this is a different rip but I'm not sure at all.

I didn't kill the links, I'm surprised because I thought Sendspace keeps the files shared as long as there is demand.

I'll upload more shit when I get the time.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone reshared the Mobb Deep demos and Trag and Imam's Bridge 2000 (full version).

Thanks to the users on this board who have helped me out as far as requests go, I appreciate everything.

Thank You.

Some members here shared the Give Up The Goods and Temperature's Rising demos, I need Survival Of The Fittest and the rest. Also, if you have Give Up The Goods in a higher quality that would be cool. Nothing wrong with the one shared, it sounded good but was encoded at a low bitrate.

Yeah, I would presume so.

Yo Kid Wave, I noticed these were from Cocaine Blunts, I got them from somewhere else originally.

Did you catch the Cocaine Blunts post on the Kaotic Style EP? Did he post any tracks and if so, did you get them? I NEED that EP bad, man.

It sucks but I never visit Cocaine Blunts and I missed that Kaotic Style shit.
