T.R.O.Y. is the slightly superior song, however
1) You idiots voted "Brooklyn Zoo" out in favor of a Jeru song that wasn't "Ain't The Devil Happy." And now I feel a need to keep some ODB in till at least the next round.
2) TROY is a sleeper cuz it has so many people who think it is the greatest song of all-time, and I would hate to see it knock off "Know the Ledge," or "Mind Playin' Tricks On Me," in a later round. Let's kill it while we have the chance.
Therefore "Protect Ya Neck" gets my vote.

I seriously hate the
factor on this site. Always there when you don't want it to be, never around when you need it.

i really dont know whats going on on this forum with all the hate Guru, CL and a few others get.
its true Cl aint the best rapper but his voice is great and he has a smoothe flow. it aint all about wordplay. and there never was another rapper sounding as good on Pete Rocks beats. like he said he takes them to another level. part of the greatness of the duo is the chemistry between those two at that time.
and i feel the same way about Gangstarr, just that i understand even less why people hate on Guru as a rapper.
voted Troy and i love the WU

its the 8-18 rule...its usually done by people who were either 8 when these artists were in their prime and have no idea how dope they truly were....or who are currently 18 and think someone like cl smooth is a "faggot"...thus he isnt allowed to like him

or it could be that both of them are average rappers who spent their rap careers standing on the shoulders of an amazing producer.clark bent wrote:i really dont know whats going on on this forum with all the hate Guru, CL and a few others get.
