Big L wins.

Every track they appeared on together resulted in Big L dropping the far superior verse and "Yes You May" remix, "Devil's Son", "Ebonics"/"Size 'Em Up" 12" and that first "Harlem's Finest" collection of all his mixtape and radio freestyles >>>>>>>>>>>> O.C's entire career.

I had to go with L as well...

just was much more of a beast on a consistent basis. Granted OC has had a long enough career to fall off and all that. But even back in the day Big L was nicer than Omar (no wire).

I think L was more talented, but just died too soon.

Big L is infinitely better. O.C. was a nice MC, but nothing special at all.

I didn't have to think about this for a second...

Big L is so superior to OC it't not even funny...

L's has single tracks better than OC's whole career fuck an album.

your buggin even trying to argue for OC

"you know what I'm about" with Lord Finesse "I'm the type to shoot you and tell your moms I'm the kid that did it"...

american dream, devils son, casualties of a dice game, how will I make it, all black, danger zone, 1995 wkcr session with jay z, 1998 wkcr sessions "I ran through every bitch in my path I was fucking chicks in the ass when I was six and a half", lifestylez of the poor and dangerous, timez is hard on the boulevard, put it on, 1994 children of the corn wkcr session "peace to all my niggas with the thousand dollar shoes on"..., furious anger, should have wore a rubber.....school days, the second wkcr session with mcgruff..."illegal chips keep my celly on.."

and there are like 100 other freestyles..

I've got a old kaysklay tape with big l, black rob, stan spit, and a few other harlem cats on the same freestyle...L spits first and bodies the track in a way OC never has in his life....."I never hesitate to bust my gun...harlem world...you know where the fuck I'm from"

plus all the doo wop shit he did, and not forgetting the first time he was on wkcr with herb mcgruff...that was a classic..!!

things like this are subjective as far as what someone likes or there personal taste but if you feel in any way at all that OC is better than L you are buggin..

for real..

LOL. Big L is far better than O.C. I liked his first two albums, both are very good, but him as an MC, is nothing to write home about. Very basic, and while marginally entertaining, isn't a top flight rapper in any sense. Nothing about him lyrically, delivery wise, flow wise, content wise is that great. He's certainly capable, and has talent, but he's not fucking with big L. At all.

word.

word...life is a near perfect album to me.

big l is dope and outshines most everybody on any track he's on, but all of his verses are pretty much the same.

but at the same time, o.c.'s last album was really bad.

O.C. Its close though. After a few Big L songs in a row, I usually end up putting on some Lord Finesse.
