I threw on some BlackJack today on the way home from work and was reminded of how ill this track is. I know that you pussies are too vh1 hardened to admit to liking Michael Bolton, but all of you Kanye loving transvestites should be able to appreciate this song, if not for its merit, than as a sample source.

BlackJack was Bolton's band in the late 70's. They were incredible. The material is much more conventional than his earlier solo work and his voice was really just coming into it's own. There are hints of his incredible power, but you can tell he is still learning how to yeild the mightiest of his weaponry.

I understand that writing writing hits for Kiss, Barbara Streisand, Joe Cocker and Kenny Rogers and being covered by The Pointer Sisters, Patti LaBelle and Greg Allman may not be impressive to you guys. Not even co-writing the best song of all-time with Bob Dylan matters much. Maybe, just maybe, a little Kanye magic fairy dust will pursuade some of you to get some TLT in your lives....

I hated Bolton so much growing up that it never crossed my mind he could have been great back in the day. I feel like an asshole.
