^it's good as well. better than the hyperdub ep (which i liked a lot) IMO, way less sludgey. more momentum and character in these tracks.

We all agree that Planet Mu and Hot Flush are killing it right now, right?

this new zomby is pretty interesting melodically but it's kinda some pussy shit. No huge bass heavy shit anywhere to be found.

Yeah, kinda think Zomby is a bit of a one trick pony.

A few grime bits, most of which have been out for an age, but I don't think have been posted here:

All good imo, especially the j2k. I thought he could've been better on the last Roll Deep album but I think he's really starting to hit his stride now.

i've never considered zomby to be on that tip tho
around a third of the songs sound like this new wave of 2-step + trademark zomby wonk... and around a third of the other songs sound like the hardcore stuff he did + trademark zomby wonk. definitely more rave friendly than the hyperdub ep

new brackles podcast/mix posted by xlr8r..
labelled dubstep.. but really sounds somewhere in between funky & 2-step

[quote]Image
Something interesting is brewing on the fringes of dubstep, and 24-year-old Rob Kemp, better known as Brackles, is right in the thick of it. The London-based DJ has been spinning garage records and wowing crowds with his insane turntable skills since he was 15 years old, but it's his next-level production work that has truly thrust him into the limelight. Singles on Planet Mu, Applepips, Berkane Sol, and Pollen, not to mention high-profile remixes for the likes of Kid Cudi vs. Crookers, Tempa T, and MSTRKRFT, have showcased Brackles' love for skittery, leftfield garage and his ability to make refined dancefloor tunesג€”you certainly won't find him resorting to clich

If you don't know Crazy Cousinz by now you need to get out more. The DJ/Production unit consisting of Rinse FM's Paleface and his cousin Flukes have taken over UK urban music with a string of ultra-Funky pop-House smashers that really hit the spot. So it was written in the scriptures eons ago that Crazy Cousinz were always going to curate the first major commercial release of a definitive Funky comp, which is what you have right in front of you. The first disc comprises of solely Crazy Cousinz productions, featuring remixes for everyone from Alesha Dixon to Estelle, Sadie Ama and Lemar book-ended by their two biggest killers 'Do You Mind?' and 'Bongo Jam'. Over on the second disc the pair mix up 24 of the scene's biggest anthems, including Geeneus 'As I', Hard House Banton's 'Sirens', Donaeo 'African Warrior', Apple 'Chants', Roska 'Climate Change', Sticky 'How Very Dare You' and nuff more cuts from DJ Naughty, Footloose, Fingaprint, MA1 and others. Funkier than James Brown's duds and twice as nice. Recommended!

I haven't even downloaded it but given the size of the mp3 I think that's the 2.40 min teaser. The full version still hasn't leaked yet, at least to my knowledge. I tried to get a decent rip off youtube but failed.
