gorguts is my favorite metal album of 2013 i listened to, but i didn't listen to a lot of albums, i got catch up to do
copy/paste list off stuff i remember liking
carcass - surgical steel
gorguts - colored sands
weekend nachos - still
darkthrone - underground resistance, also nocturno cultos solo album was good
vatnett viskar - sky swallower
kvelertak - meir
countess - sermons of the infidel
uncle acid & the dead beats - mind control
just finished with the nails album, i can add it to the list

i had the megadeth and pantera albums on cassette
they left out some of my childhood favorites like dimmu borgirs debut and satyricons the shadowthrone :( while me and my friend were playing nintendo, his older brother played all the latest black metal stuff for us in the mid 90's. good times

saw them in august, twas tremendous. they played a super oldschool set, no new stuff, mostly necroticism though. would like to get to see the new stuff live too eventually.
