Yeah, loving this. I was hoping the Hyperdub-influence would be a little more dominant but this is pretty great nonetheless. He's amazing on the synths and drums. It's better than 1983 and up to par with the Reset EP.

shit is fantastic, pisses all over anything he's released before

his bumchum samiyam has a 12" out on hyperdub in a few months which should also be great.

niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiceeeee

I hadn't heard anything about him releasing a new album
but I'm glad I stumbled upon this.

I actually suggested him as a feature in the next issue of the magazine.

i saw him live last night, he played for about an hour and a half and was absolutely brilliant, the skills, tunes, improvisation and more than anything the presence and crowd control was as good as I've seen from any dj.

Never heard of this dude before, but DLed to see what all the fuss was about.

Found it incredibly boring.

What is listening to this supposed to make you want to do?

Don't know how people aren't loving the shit out of this.

Thought this would be a record I hate. Probably my favorite album of the year so far. Shit is gorgeous.

I went to see him at one of the Meltdown shows, thinking he was headlining, but fucking missed him 'cos he was on first.

BUT, I saw Dalek for the first time and they (he?) were excellent. Not even heard a single track by them/him but it was ill.

Don't know how you can like this when you basically hate anything Madlib has ever done.

Damned if I'm searching threads to see what you like buddy. I asked a question you refused to answer it. We'll leave it at that pal.

I'll sum it up.
he likes rock music that legitimately rocks and not that pussified shit (although he has a weakness for Rush) and he likes metal.... a whole fucking lot.

thus flying lotus is not in the cards.
