just saw these crazy fuckers last night.
I had this feeling I had once again missed the boat on seeing a band still in its raw form and I get the feeling they might be one of those bands that no matter how big they get, will always be crazy fuckers on stage and not just for the sake of doing, but that's because its who they are.
the drummer is a pounding mess, he is the embodiment of the Muppet's Animal back there. he is just flopping around as he plays.
the bassist is the only chill person up there, while the other two are active, spitting into the air and catching it, playing with their teeth... i had heard the band members made out on stage before and i think i was the only one who caught it last night. it was real quick, but really funny.
the one singer is may be slightly brain dead, he always sounds that way on record and i thought it was just him being stupid, but its his real voice and he would probably be pumping gas if it weren't for the band.
anyways, I really hope these guys can make it back to Detroit for Devil's Night (night before Halloween).
definitely suggest getting thier new album
and seeing them live.
